AN: I usually am not good at writing poems, especially school assignments, but this one turned out ok. It's not perfect, but close enough for me.

A Peek Inside My Soul

There is a door into my soul,

To which I have no key.

I can only look through the window,

And guess at what I see.

I see a girl, who's quiet and shy,

Another who is mean and loud.

One is gentle, sweet, and kind,

And the last is smart and proud.

I hear a quiet tick-tock

From the clock up on the wall.

Even as the time passes

The girls don't change at all.

As I peeked inside my soul

I saw the girl I want to be

I am all of them.

And all of them are me.
