This is not my first story ever written but is the first I am posting on here. I'll add chapters as much as I can. Leave reviews!

She walked down the dark hallway, trying to find a way to get away from the oncoming threat she knew was coming. She felt the chill climbing up her spine from the feeling. She felt something else along with that fear. It warmed her and scared her more than the chill. She wasn't used to it, this was the first time its ever happened and it freaked her out. Both feelings got stronger, and she decided it was now or never. She ran down the hallway, reaching the exit door that lead into the light filled streets. She knew she would be safe there.

Opening the door as quietly and quickly as she possibly could she sprinted out the door and onto the streets. She found her car and jumped in, as she started the car she felt someone watching her and she almost broke down. Tears formed in her eyes and she pushed her key in to start the engine, it wouldn't start. She tried again and it gave way. She let out the breath she was holding in. She was safe for now.

Speeding down the streets she took in all the little details of the town, she knew she couldn't stay, but she didn't want to leave. So right then she promised her self that no matter what she would come back. Because this was her home, her safety net. Where all her memories were made. She drove into an apartments parking lot and parked. Running to the doors the gaurd let her in and she walked over to the elevator and pressed 3. Squeaking, the elevator opened and the girl walked towards the apartment that housed her best friend.

As soon as the hand hit the door it opened. A girl with wavy brown hair and glasses appeared in front of her.

"Elizabeth?" The girl with glasses questioned.

"Its bad Lia. I need to leave town for a while. They're coming for me, they know where I am and I need to leave and save myself. As well as everyone else. I need you to cover for me. Just know that your the best friend anyone could ever have and I will miss you so much. I promise I will come back when I can." Elizabeth responded quickly.

Lia let her in the apartment and Elizabeth went strait for the closet. She ripped it open and grabbed the duffel bag, the laptop case, and the suitcase. Elizabeth quickly hugged Lia, who was still speachless and fled. In the hall her appearance changed. She was no longer blonde and Elizabeth's eyes changed to gray. Her new red hair flowed down her back and ended at around the waist. Jumping into the empty elevator Eliazbeth's body changed as well.

Leaving the bulding left pain in her chest but she knew she couldn't go back. Elizabeth was about to be caught and wouldn't let that happen. She also couldn't bear it if someone got hurt becasue of her. So Elizabeth left and didn't look back. Once she was outside of the city limits the tears rolled down her cheeks in groups. She cried for all the pain she felt throughout her life, she cried because she was a monster. She hated herself for it.

She made it throught three states before she needed to rest. She pulled into a motel and paid for the night knowing that she wasn't coming back. She needed to keep moving before they caught her but she could sleep. That she knew for sure, If she didn't all hell might break loose. But, that wouldn't really suprise her.
