This is a sonnet I had to write in English a few years ago. I can't write poems, but I think this one isn't too bad.

Shall I compare thee to a snowy day?
Thou art more shiny and more glistening
Cold does strike into your bones people say
But the pot and the kettle whistling
Warm up the freezing cold of thw winter
To keep up the simpleness of the day
The icicles that fall then splinter
I love you, you say, thats not true, I say
But thy eternal winter shall not fade
And the sun is non existant today
I stand in everlasting dark and shade
Wishing to be with you again this day
As long as i can stand to ive through this
I can stand to wait for our last kiss
