The Sun and the Moon

The sun rises on the horizon,

The moon is trying to hold on,

The sun shines much too brightly,

The moon glows gently and strong,

The sun takes over the day,

The moon tries to hide at night,

The sun boils the air too well,

The moon perfects the breeze, all right,

The sun tries to make all its domain,

The moon knows his place in the sky,

The sun blinds all who look at it,

The moon shows his face tonight,

The sun pretends he's all-knowing,

Making us believe his lies,

The moon shows his wisdom very well,

We don't even have to ask why,

The sun can give me all his warmth,

But the moon, I look to for guidance,

For up in the sky, day or night,

He holds his place up high.
