By the light of the moon,

In the middle of the day,

I walked along the desert dune,

Waist deep in bright green grass,

In a world that is new.

But has existed forever,

Where nothing is true,

But logic reigns,

We seek truth,

But lie to ourselves,

We are individuals,

Yet a face in a crowd,

In our empty but swarming universe:

Contradiction is king,

In a world where the same is the only,

Individuality rules,

But acceptance undermines,

We are all parrots mimicking,

Seeking open arms.
