Flitting to and fro, with a cheery glow,
The Faerie is wherever the others go.
First to ask but last to know,
She's content to follow.
The other fae, they love to say,
"Oh, see her laugh and act so gay!
How silly she is throughout the day,
In such a quaint way."
One fae asks, while the Faerie basks,
"How does she laugh at dreary tasks?
Is this the sly work of an effective mask,
Or an amber flask?"
Words fly overhead, but the Faerie instead
Just smiles and waves before heading to bed.
Some think it all flies over her head,
Or from it fled.
