Petrarchian Sonnet
By: Christine Bell
When I see you, I nearly die of fright.
I can't believe how large you have become.
The problem is so large I can't even sum
The horrors I picture when y'are in sight.
Sometimes I would not want to turn on the light.
You know, I really think you are quite dumb
And you make me look like a great big bum.
Get ready, sir, I'll start and finish the fight.
But I guess I'll get to you soon enough.
You are a horrid little mess so far,
but you are still very small and I can deal.
You are fairly weak while I am tough.
If I need space, I can always use my car.
I'll finish you right after my next meal.
What am I talking about???
