A/N Hey, so this is about a girl who becomes part of a band, and she has to go through many trials, blah. Not really, I might stop, if I do, sorry but you're going to have to live.

I started to strum on the electric guitar in the music room, and played the last chorus.

Whoa ember you will remember

Ohh ember one thing remains

Ohh ember, so warm and tender!

You will remember my name

You will remember my name

You will remember my name.

I sang quietly to myself in the deserted classroom after school. Then froze when I saw another person in the room. Ian looking at me with astonishment written all over his face, which then broke into a wild grin.

"You're coming with me," he said, grabbing my wrist and dragging me along.

"Where am you taking me?" I asked.

"Just a classroom." He answered. Wow, really Ian? No I just thought we were going to have a little tea party! I thought sarcastically. He took a sharp turn, and entered the classroom. I stopped cold when I saw who was in there, David, and James, who were playing their guitars. James was playing a bass guitar, and David played on his guitar strumming out a few chords. They stopped playing as soon as they saw Ian. He had dropped my wrist by then and I started to fade in to the background.

"Hey man! What's up?" David asked. David was a tall brown haired kid, with red highlights. He was considered a goth, with him wearing black all the time.

"Nothing much," Ian replied. "Just got us a new guitarist and singer." The guys for the first time noticed me, and stared, I looked down at my black, blue and purple shoes.

"Yeah, I'm not really a singer," I began but Ian cut me off.

"You kidding me? I just heard you sing!"

"Here-" David handed me his guitar.

"You were great, just show them." Ian then looked at me with big pleading eyes. I sighed.

"Fine," I muttered.

It was…it was September,

Wind blows, the dead leaves fall,

To you I did surrender,

Two weeks you didn't call.

Your life goes on without me,

My life a losing game,

But you should…you should not doubt me,

You will remember my name.

Ohh, Ember,

You will remember,

Ember,

One thing remains.

Ohh ember!

So warm and tender!

You will remember my name.

Your heart… your heart has mended,

Your walls now bear the shame,

Like dead trees in cold December,

Nothing but ashes remains.

Ohh, Ember,

You will remember,

Ember,

One thing remains.

Ohh ember!

So warm and tender!

You will remember my name.

Ohh, Ember,

You will remember,

Ember,

One thing remains.

Ohh ember!

So warm and tender!

You will remember my name.

You will remember my name,

You will remember my name,

You will remember my name

The room was silent for a few moments. Then Ian grinned.

"So, what did I tell you?" he asked. David and James laughed.

"You picked good." David said. "Welcome, um…" he said, trailing off as he realized he never knew my name.

"Jessica." I supplied him with my name.

"Welcome Jessica." He said warmly.

"Umm, what exactly are you welcoming me too?" I asked. David wheeled around to Ian.

"You never told her why she was here? What did you do? Grab her and then drag her here?" David asked. Ian looked down at the floor guiltily. "Oh my gosh Ian. You're such an idiot." Then he spoke to me. "Well, the three of us are a band, we've been looking for a singer since our last one, umm, quit. So we have been looking for a singer for a couple of weeks."

"Umm sure, I'll join, on one condition though." I said. "You guys will refer to me as Amber okay?" the guys nodded their heads.

"Cool! We meet every Friday nights, and if we get a gig, I'll tell you." Alec said. I nodded and walked away. This was going to be an interesting year.

A/N so how's you guys like it? Oh yeah, and I don't own Remember- By Ember Mclain. So really, a song from a deceased show Danny Phantom.
