A/N: This my second attempt at this story and I truly think it is ready to be on the site now. Please review. All authors need constructive criticism whether they think they do or they don't. I hope you enjoy!

The Law

.) All kills made during the hunt belong to the person who made the final blow, regardless of being the Alpha or not. Whether or not they share is up to them.

.) If an Alpha dies without an heir, the son of the Alpha male's second-in-command must rule, unless he is deemed unworthy. In this case, either the Alpha female's second-in-command must rule. If both are unfit to rule, the Elders must choose who is best to leave the pack. Such a choice must be made in three days to avoid chaos and disaster.

.) If an Alpha steps down and hands over their leadership prematurely, they themselves forfeit their right to rule, but their children are still in the running. If this new Alpha dies without an heir, the children of the previous Alpha are still considered heirs.

.) Any member of the pack who dares hurt a member of the Alpha family must be put to death immediately and their family members must be exiled.

.) Mates are for life. Once you are mated, both emotionally and physically, nothing can break this bond as long as both mates shall live. If this bond is broken through unfaithfulness, the offended mate can choose the other's punishment.

.) If a female cannot give her mate children, or if a couple chooses not to have children, they may become the guardians of the Alpha's children until they come of age, especially if the Alpha and his mate have died either in battle or in sickness.

.) A female has a year to choose a mate from the moment she turns eighteen. However, the first born daughter of the Alpha is given to the son of the Alpha's second-in-command's son, and the second born daughter is given to the Alpha female's second-in-command's son. They may choose if the both second-in-commands do not have sons.

.) It is against the Law to murder humans for the sport of it, though they murder our brethren for sport. It is only permitted to protect your pack and family if one is approached by one of their hunters. Also, turning a human into one of us is also against the Law, unless the human has found out about our existence. In this case, they may only choose between becoming one of us and death.

.) If the current Alpha treats the pack wrongly and unfairly, another member of the pack may challenge the Alpha and fight to the death. If the Alpha wins, he remains Alpha. If the challenger wins, he now becomes the Alpha. If both of them tires and cannot continue the fight, then neither of them can become Alpha, and a new one must be chosen.

.) The pack together must decide whether or not they go to war, but if they are pulled into a war by their Alpha or if they are attacked by another pack, they must fight, regardless of their own opinions.
