Lying on my bed, staring at the ceiling, with the light shining from the windows really comforts me. Don't ask. I don't understand it either. I just finished packing all my stuff. It was a lot, but I managed to get it all.

"Hey sweetie, finish packing all your things?" my mom said as I took my gaze off the ceiling and looked at her.

"Yeah" I replied lazily. Not only was I exhausted, but I finally realized what I got myself into. Yes, I decided I wanted to move in with my dad. I haven't seen him in 2 years. My parent's got divorced for who knows what. All I know is I heard the fighting, but they seem to get along better not living with each other.

My mom started taking some of my stuff downstairs and into the moving truck. She was very optimistic so she was positive about this. I knew this is what I wanted. I needed to get out of Ohio. Everything here was the same and it never changed. The people were getting to fake for my liking, just not my friends. I have a lot of friends and I love them all, but I need to do what's best for me.

I got up and started to help take the boxes out to the truck. After one box, I started panting. Yeah I know, pathetic. I am in shape though. I work out twice a week.

So I walked into the living room and saw my brother watching TV. I knew he had soccer in a few, so I didn't want to waste too much time saying bye to him.

"Alex" I said. He didn't look up. Either he pretends to not hear or he just really needs a hearing aid. "ALEX!" I shouted and he finally looked up. He seemed annoyed. "What do you want?"

"My flights in two hours, so I'm saying bye."

"Oh, well I'm going to miss you…maybe. "He came and hugged me.

I hugged back, "Yeah ill miss you too in a way." I laughed. How awkward.

I was heading to the airport now. My mom drove me since my car was being taken to Arizona.

As I was looking out the window, we passed by Star Bucks and other places I have memories in. I had good times, but Ohio just seems so depressing, in a way. I can't explain it. Hopefully Arizona is going to be a better change.

Finally, we arrived at the airport.

I got all my stuff from the trunk and started to go inside. My mom came in walking with me. Once I got everything I needed and was ready, it was time to say goodbye. It was hard because I never really left my mom before. Now that I won't be living with her anymore.

"Well have a good flight. And be good while you're there, I don't want you causing trouble. I love you Julie. I'm going to miss you." She exclaimed.

"I'll try but I can't promise anything. I'll miss you too. ". I hugged her and let her go. It was time to go so I started walking away. I looked back and saw her wave and I waved back.

Well this is to my new beginning in Arizona. Well officially when I get there in 3-4 hours.

Goodbye Ohio.

I finally arrived in Scottsdale, Arizona.

It had a very warm feeling about it. As I was walking, I started wondering what the house will look like. I've never visited since he moved here. The people here were nice so far. This airport was pretty big to be honest. It was a lot nicer than the one in Ohio. I loved the smell of it to. I don't know, but every place has its own smell. Not that I was trying to smell it, but I do breathe you know.

Once I finally got to where people were waiting for others, I got excited. I'm not one to be nervous. I was just in the mood to get in a car and drive. I love driving, I always felt carefree when I'm driving. It's my way of calming down if I'm mad.

I heard someone call out "Julie!" I looked to my right and saw my dad.

I quickly ran up and hugged him. "I can't believe I'm in Arizona!" I screamed. But I didn't scream to loud.

"Yeah well, I can't believe you wanted to come. And look at you, all grown up." He ruffled my hair.

"Yeah, it better not be all desert here or I will walk right onto the next flight." I calmly stated.

My dad laughed and replied, "No, no, nothing like that. Let's get out of here now, you're probably tired."

"More like always tired." I said as we were walking with my suitcases to the car.

Once we got into the car, we talked and laughed the way there. We finally got there and pulled up to a big house. I just couldn't help but just stare at it. This was beyond amazing. I mean, who else moves to Arizona knowing there living in a luxurious big house? I could fit a swimming pool in it. I'm not sure if I that's exaggerating, but it seemed true to me.

"Julez…?"

"This is your house?!"

He chuckled. No really, he CHUCKLED. This isn't normal. Who gets a divorce, moves to Arizona, and lives in practically a mansion!? Well apparently this guy over here chuckling.

"Holyshit! I never knew you lived in a mansion! Why didn't you tell me? Don't answer that, I'm going to go and check It out." I started getting out the car.

"You'll need a key Julez."

I turned around and took the key out his hands and went in. I don't know what to say. It was everything I could ever ask for. It was perfect. The palm tree's made everything nicer outside, but this was quite nice. When you walk in there is a big staircase in the middle, so I started going up. I didn't know which way to go so I went left, it had more rooms. I walked through and found a door on the right that said "Julies Room".

So I cautiously opened the door, and my jaw dropped. There was a queen sized bed on the right in the middle. There was a walk in closet next to the door. Across the room was a balcony. Then I had this huge mirror on the other wall. The walls were white. But I didn't mind.

I love my room.

"Like your room? I thought you would since there was a balcony. The guy with the truck came that has all your stuff. I'll go get it." He walked out.

So the next 30 minutes consisted of my dad bringing up the boxes. Than the next hour and half I spent unpacking. I did leave some clothes around on the floor since I love it when it is a little messy. I decided to go downstairs and get a drink. My dad was in the living room watching TV.

"I'm done unpacking finally. Do you have anything good to drink?" I asked hopefully, because I knew he liked to stay healthy and eat healthy food. In my opinion, if you're working out then eat what the hell you want…just saying.

I was interrupted from talking to myself when my dad replied, "I actually went shopping for grocery's today for food you might like. For drinks I got coca cola, energy drinks, and most importantly Mountain Dew." He smiled at the last part.

I quickly got Mountain Dew and started drinking it. It was kind of my addiction. It makes me untired. If that's even a word.

It was 10pm and I felt like I should get some sleep for tomorrow. "Hey ima go to bed, I'm tired from unpacking and all that." I announced.

"Okay Julez, night."

--

I woke up with the sun shining in my face. Screw you sun. It aggravated me so much, so I decided to hide under the covers. After about 20 minutes I decided to get up and get ready. I decided to wear dark ripped skinny jeans, with a shirt that was a bit big, but tight. On the shirt it said, "Doin Me".

I decided to leave my hair straight. It was black with white blonde underneath. I put my eyeliner and mascara on and put on some Jordan's and made my way downstairs.

I walked into the kitchen and saw that it was 11 pm. Perfect time to wake up in my opinion. So I decided to make myself some bacon. Wait, I don't know how to though. I guess I'll just Google it. So I went to get my laptop and came downstairs and googled how to make bacon. It was a difficult process, but I managed to make bacon. So clap for me.

Once I was finished eating, I just texted my dad letting him know I'm going to go on a walk and I'll be back later. Once I stepped outside, the breeze hit my face and the warmth outside just made all my worries go away. Not that I had worries, but I just heard that in movies and books I read, so I thought I'd act it out myself.

Matter of fact, I'm not sure I would like to walk. I don't want to waste my energy. So I texted my dad and told him that I will be using his car. So, I went to get the keys and ran back and got into the car. My Hummer wasn't here yet, so I had to go in my dad's2011 Cadillac CTS Sedan.

I was driving and saw that there was a park. I decided to park there and check It out. As I got out the car and walked towards the park it was very big. The grass was really green. There were people around, but it wasn't crowded or anything.

I decided to go sit at the tree; it had shade which I could use. It was pretty hot, but still nice. So I took out my phone and started texting my friends from back home.

I heard someone sit next to me. I looked up to a pair of piercing grey-blue eyes. He was wearing a tight white shirt with baggy skinny jeans. He was buff. I mean, he probably had hard washboard abs under that shirt. His hair had that 'woosh' thing going on. It was brown with blonde looking highlights. He was definitely tall.

"Checking me out already?" he smirked.

Seems cocky. I'm not sure if I should find that attractive or not.

"No, and who are you?" I asked. Obviously, he was extremely attractive. But, that doesn't mean anything.

"I'm Bryson. I've never seen you around before, you must be new."

"Yeah I am, and the names Julie."

"Right, Julie. So where did you move from?"

"Ohio. "

"Wow. Well what school you going to?"

"Arcadia High School."

"Well I guess I'll be seeing you more often."

"I guess so. So you play any sports?"

"Yeah, I'm quarterback on the football team. " He smiled cockily.

"Well isn't that just great."

He chuckled."Well, I do get a lot of girls."

"Well, your not getting this one."

"I think I will."

"I think you won't."

"Don't worry, you'll be wanting me soon."

"Doubt it."

He smiled at me. It was one of those extremely sexy smiles where you want to melt, but I'm not letting that happen. So I got up and started walking away. Then I felt someone's hand tight on my arm. I looked back to see Bryson with a smirk on his face.

"Hey, if your going to leave can I at least have your number?" he asked. Well, why not?

"Sure." I replied.

So we exchanged numbers, and went our own ways. I got into my car and shut the door. I sighed and just looked forward. Wow. Well, I'll just go with the flow. So I turned on the engine and backed out and started driving towards home. I looked at the text message I was about to read before Bryson came.

It was a text message from Abbey, I opened it and read:

Good luck in Arizona. (:

Hey!(:

So this is my first ever story. I'm really just making things up as I go with this story. I'm can't write things down and plot the whole story. It doesn't work like that for me. So I hope you liked the first chapter. They will get better, well I hope they do, you're the judge of that. So should I continue or not? I do update fairly quickly. So I guess that's one thing good about me. Haha :P

Loveee,

Kristinaa (:
