Hey, I know these chapters have been kind of boring but the rest of chapters will contain a lot of backstabbing, flashbacks, and questions about the choices made in life.

Sitting in the limousine and thinking about that day, I realized that fairy tales can come true. I mean Deacon isn't always prince charming and our relationship is far from perfect, but he is always there when I need him and we love each other and that's what matters the most.

"Bloody hell, these reporters are like bloodhounds at a fox hunt."
Startled I jump, "in your own little world again I see."

"What are you doing here?"

"Mum, thought that I should come and protect you." Deacon said and with a devilish grin "or as she put it go be her knight in shining armor."

I'm not sure how but every time I see Deacon he becomes more beautiful. Although I would never tell him this because he feels that beautiful is a word for girls and that he is not attractive enough to be considered handsome.

"Are you sure those were her exact words?"
"I told you that she has accepted you" and holding up his fingers mimics "she has grown quite fond of you."

At this last statement I burst out laughing.

"What's so funny?"

"You when you said she has grown quite fond of me" I mimic in by best British ascent.

"Let's see whose laughing when you actually lose that southern ascent"

"Lose my ascent."

"Yes lose your ascent and southern charm too."

"Why Sir," I say in my worst southern ascent "I am an American and as God as my witness I will be Southern until the day I die."

We are almost in tears from laughter when the bodyguard said that the plane is ready to leave.

As we are boarding the plane I turn and take one last look around because I know that my life will never be the same again.

Sensing that I have stopped, Deacon stands behind me, whispers that everything will be fine, and I send a prayer to Heaven asking God to let Deacon be right this one time.
