A year later…
Avery has always reflected on that night. The night when he found Myles. The night when he betrayed his friends.
It was his sixteenth birthday, but he didn't feel like celebrating.
There was something missing from his life.
Kassidy.
She was in the hospital after an assault from the other gang.
Since then, Avery had seen the reality of the path he was choosing.
He quit drink and quit the gang.
His only friend was Kassidy though.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
Avery's phone rang. Caller ID said Ray Mobile.
He pressed ignore.
He sat in a dark room; the only sound was the sound of Myles' crying.
Then he heard a loud knock at the door.
He opened, his face streaked with tears.
He opened the door, and it was two people.
They said "We're here to take your kid"
Avery couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"No… Not Myles…No…"
That was all he could manage to say as one of them grabbed Myles by the arm and led him away.
When they shut the door, Avery fell to his knees, crying even harder.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
It was his phone.
He grabbed it, and in a very shaky voice said "Hello?"
It was Kassidy's mother. She told him "I'm very sorry, but Kassidy passed away due to injury this morning"
Avery hung up. He felt as though his life was not worth living anymore.
He walked into the kitchen. Just as he heard his neighbour knocking at the door, he got a knife out of the drawer.
Then it was done. There was a bloodcurdling yell that resounded through the walls.
But what Avery didn't know was that his neighbour heard and called the police.
One of the policemen knew Avery from when he was in the gang.
The police broke the door down, only to find Avery, lying on the floor, soaked in blood, knife in hand.
There was a note too. It said:
"Bury me next to Kassidy"
Avery was dead.

Sorry for the year difference between the first and this chapter- Couldn't think of any ideas for a filler chapter.
