Does the hero always win?

And so, who is the hero in this tale?

For surely it would be the knight,

And thus the dragon would surely fail.

So how is the armour burnt?

And the shield chared,

Melted at the edges, at the entrance of the cave,

And how has our knight fared?

And there he lies, burnt

To a crisp on the ground,

The dragon in the cave,

And no maiden to be found.

And as the tale is written by the winner,

Then the hero rests within the cave,

And so the knight is fallen,

And no maiden left to save.

And so, we are left

With a tale of epic fights,

Between one heroic dragon,

And many evil knights.
