Summary: For the longest time he had, had nothing, and then she came into his life and he never wanted to let her go.

Molly Corazon looked at the sad figure sitting in the hospital bed.

It was a boy around her age, but he was nothing like her.

His name was Ezekial Wynters and he was the only survivor of a horrific kidnapping and murder case, but he hadn't gotten away unscathed no poor Ezekial while he had his life; he no longer had his sight or his voice.

His kidnapper know as the Collector, had a habit of taking his victims eyes and voices before killing them, he had taken Ezekial's eyes and severed his voice box but the police had saved his life before the Collector could end it.

Molly looked at the pretty blonde nurse next to her.

"This is Ezekial Wynters. I think it's very nice of you to volunteer your time to him. His family doesn't visit." The Nurse said as she put a hand on Molly's shoulder.

Molly nodded and took a deep breath and walked into the rather dreary room.

The first think she did was open the window to let some light in. At the sound of the window opening the boy turned his head in her direction.

Molly smiled.

"Hi." She said cheerfully as her eyes look in the sight of the person.

He was pale and porcelain and looked so fragile, he had long white blonde hair to about his shoulders and he eyes and throat were wrapped in bandages.

He lowered his head.

Molly frowned a bit and then straightened.

'He's just a little lonely. His own family won't even visit him.'
Molly crossed over to him and sat in a chair next to his bed.

"My name is Molly Corazon." She said softly. Again he tilted his head in her direction, but he was frowning.

"I'm going to be visiting you from now on. So I hope we can be friends." She said even softer. He nodded.

Molly hung her head and hesitantly reached and touched his hand.

It was so cold and so pale.

He looked up obviously startled.

"Ezekial, do you like cookies?" She asked. His pale fingers wrapped around her tan ones in a gentle way like he was afraid that she wasn't really there.

He nodded and smiled.

~A Month Later~

Molly came to see Ezekial everyday. All the nurses knew her by name and they all appreciated her, Ezekial seemed brighter and less desolate.

Molly talked to Ezekial, she held his hands (which he liked the best), he brought him little treats and always smiled at him ever though he couldn't see her face.

He always managed to smile back.

She never missed a day and it made Ezekial fidget anxiously if she was even a minute late.

~A week later~

Molly walked back into the hospital room that she knew as well as her own room with a smiled on her face and a bouquet of flowers in her hands.

She set the flowers on the bedside table and saw Ezekial sitting in a chair close to the window. He didn't like the sunlight much but he did enjoy sitting next to the window.

Molly pushed her crimson bangs out of her pretty cornflower blue eyes, as he pulled a flower out of the bouquet and went over to her friend.

"Hi Ezekial." She said softy. The boy tilted his head up quickly.

Molly smiled as she placed a flower in his hand. He grabbed her hand, colorless skin sliding against tan skin and he sniffed the flower.

He looked up at her and frowned slightly.

"I'm sorry about being gone for a whole week." She said as she sat next to him. Ezekial nodded and twirled the flower between his fingers.

Molly had been on a camping trip where she had met a nice boy named Reggie. She decided not to tell Ezekial, he probably wouldn't care anyway.

~3 Months Later~

As usual Molly came in and grabbed Ezekial's hand. She had a joyous smile on her face.

About four weeks back, she and Reggie had started dating, and he was just so nice.

Ezekial looked up at her, a questioning look echoing on his lips.

"I'm going on a trip with my boyfriend, Reggie Williams." She giggled slightly. "He has a month long soccer camp and he invited me to go with him." She said.

Ezekial frowned and gripped her hand rather tightly. Molly frowned; of course that would upset him he'd be alone for a whole month.

She gave him a sympathetic smile.

"Don't worry, I'll be back soon, and I'll tell you all about." She said softly and then she brightened and began to chatter about her day a school and a new TV show that had come on last night. Ezekial's grip on her hand was tight the whole evening.

~A Couple of Days Later~

Molly came in reeking of tears and carried a depressed aura around her.

"Hi." She said woefully. Ezekial who had been squeezing a stress ball when she had come in looked up immediately and his lips twisted into a confused but relieved smile.

Molly with her hair in a rather messy ponytail sat down and grabbed Ezekial's pale, cold and soft hands. His fingers stroked hers almost possessively but Molly really needed someone to talk to.

"Reggie got killed in a car accident." She sniffed. Ezekial's hands stroked her face and she noticed he was brushing her tears away.

She fell forward and buried her face into his lap and cried out, as he stroked her back and hair.

How he knew tears had been streaming down her face was a question for later, but for now she just let him touch her.

Despite herself Molly managed to smile a bit.

'I'm supposed to be comforting him.'

~6 Months later~

Molly hurried into Ezekial's room an apology already forming on her tongue, she had been running a few minutes late and she knew her friend hated it when she was late.

She looked around the room to see it was empty. The bed was made and everything smelled sterile like it had just been cleaned.

A nurse the same one she had met all those months ago walked into the room with a clipboard.

"OH Molly!" She said surprise and was that sadness in her voice?

"Hello. Where's Ezekial?" She asked. The nurse looked Molly over.

She was very pretty, with big and beautiful cornflower and sapphire blue colored eyes with strange black rings surrounded her irises. Smooth tan bronze skin and long silky layered chocolate brown and raven black hair to her lower back coupled with blonde high and lowlights and jaw length crimson colored bangs that covered her left eye. She had a button nose, and a petite and slender frame, and a pretty heart shaped face. She stood at 5'4.

The nurse smiled softly and sympathetically and placed a hand on Molly's shoulder.

"Molly, Ezekial passed away ten minutes ago. Remember how we couldn't release him from the hospital. Remember the whole in his throat?"

Molly nodded numb and tears stung her eyes.

"Well it finally….." The nurse trailed off. Molly pushed away from her and started to hyperventilate.

"I'll go get you some water." The nurse said leaving the room.

Molly fell too her knees and cried.

She was late.

She was late.

She didn't; get to say goodbye.

She didn't; get to tell him that she loved him.

Tears of bitter sadness cascaded down her supple tan face as she couldn't stop her emotional breakdown.

"Thank you, Molly." Came a voice from behind her. Molly went to turn around but only felt pain, the she heard something clatter to the floor but everything went dark.

Here eyes opened a second later a Molly found herself looking at her own body. Her throat had been ripped out and there was a scalpel lying next to her, and there was blood everywhere.

There where nurses running around talking about suicide of something.

Molly turned and gasped in awe.

Her blue eyes met brown ones and she found herself tracing a familiar face, pale porcelain skin, long white blonde hair.

"Ezekial?" She asked. He nodded and went to caress her face.

She noticed that he was looked at her with a rather terrifying mania in his eyes. He touched every part of her face he could and she pulled back alarmed.

"What's going on?" Molly asked.

"I had to bring you with me." He said. Molly balked.

Did he just talk?

"What are you talking about?"

"I died." He said. Watching the proceedings of the very alive nurses all screaming over Molly's cold body. They had screamed about his body too, but they weren't important.

"Ezekial?"

The blonde boy smiled at her.

"I really like the way you say my name. It sounds so perfect."

"What?"

Ezekial grabbed her again and caressed her face. Molly went to pull away but Ezekial wasn't having that.

"This is the first time I've gotten to really look at you. You're just as pretty as I imagined." He cooed.

"What are you talking about?" Molly said a creeping feeling in her stomach.

Ezekial played with her hair a bit before answering.

"I told you, I died." He said as if that were the answer to life. Molly went to pull back but Ezekial crushed her to him. He buried his face in her hair and stroked her sides.

Molly could feel it; she could feel the sheer obsession pouring off of Ezekial. She was frozen to the spot.

"What happened to me?" She asked, afraid of the answer. Ezekial breathed in the sent of her hair and nuzzled her neck.

"I died alone, but I wasn't leaving you here." He said rather playfully. Molly's already unresponsive heart stopped.

"You?" She said terrified. Ezekial's arms tightened around her.

"You're mine." He said softly as he nibbled on her neck a bit. Molly forced him away from her.

He looked wounded but only for a bit.

"What's wrong?" He asked stepping forward. Molly was again hyperventilating. Ezekial gently took her into his arms.

"It's okay." He cooed. He breathed in her scent and sighed. He prepared to relax when he was hit.

He held his cheek in alarm, his brown eyes widened in shock.

"Molly why did you…" He sounded so confused and hurt.

Molly almost felt sorry for him.

"You KILLED ME?!!!" She shrieked. Ezekial blinked innocently and looked around the now empty hospital room.

"Yeah." He said softly, still rubbing his sore cheek. "Why did hit me?"

Molly was shaking with anger.

"Why did you kill me?"

Ezekial stopped rubbing his cheek and frowned slightly.

"You're mine, if I left you alive, then I'd be stuck following you around, watching you move on. I like you." He said simply. Molly covered her mouth in horror. The blonde gave her a curious look.

"What?"

Ezekial grabbed her hands and stroked them gently.

"All this time every since you started to visit me, I've like you. I really like you." He smiled at her. "I wanted to tell you how I was feeling, but I couldn't speak, I wanted to look at you but I couldn't see. I thought maybe you would realize that I liked you, but you got a boyfriend and I thought I'd never get a chance to have you, but then he died and I had another chance, but then I died." He looked at the open window and allowed Molly's hands to slip out of his grasp.

"I didn't want to leave you; I wasn't going to leave you." He said softly. Molly took a step back but Ezekial turned to her.

"SO I had no choice but to kill you, to put you on the same level that I was." He said excitedly, trying to push his reasoning onto her.

Molly stepped back, scared.

"You mean all this time, you where becoming obsessed with me?" She said weakly. Ezekial reached for her hands, ready to draw her back but she jumped back.

"Molly, come back." He said softly. She shook her head.

"Molly." He pressed, firmly. Her response was to step back again.

Ezekial took a breath.

"Molly, come back here right now." He said tensely. Molly had tears in her eyes. Ezekial's hands dropped like he had been burnt.

"Don't cry. I'm not going to hurt you. I just want to be with you and I want to be with you forever." Molly had had it.

"No." She said softly. "This is not right. I have to leave." She said.

Ezekial's face soaked with horror.

"NO. You can't leave me." He said. "You tried that before." He was staring to hyperventilate now. He was choking on his words trying to find something to make Molly stay.

"Don't go. I need you. Please don't go." He said. Molly was halfway to the door.

Ezekial couldn't stand it; he'd never had to actually see her leave before. This was horrible. He needed time to make her understand, he needed to keep her close.

So he did what he thought was best.

"Thank you, Molly." He said tearfully.

He lunged forward and ate Molly. Hopefully that would give him enough time to explain to Molly, give him enough time to keep her.

Molly found herself surrounded by his choking desperate obsession, his need to keep her and his memories and thoughts and she knew then that she'd be forever his.
