(A/N- All right, after 7 months and 20 days. The wait is finally over! Without further ado, I give you Chapter One to "Runway Royalty")
I ran down the street with Davey right behind me, and for some reason. I never predicted that the year would begin like this. Of course, once I began 'truly' dating Paris, I knew that some things would change but being chased down the street by teenage girls just was not part of my vision.
"Why are they chasing me? I didn't even do anything!" Davey yelled, skidding on the corner as we ran into a building.
"Because you were with me! I yelled behind me. "I think Liz is trying to find us" Davey said, running up the steps and avoiding the people walking around, moving out the way as we ran past.
"Damn Paris! I bet she thinks this is funny," I groaned, checking behind me to see if we were still being followed.
"But you know what really is funny, And" Davey said, chuckling as we sped walked down the hall. "What Dave?" I asked, leaning over to catch my breath.
"If this would have happened just 4 years ago, then this would have been pretty cool actually" he replied, smirking. I shook my head at him before glancing up and seeing the pack of girls again.
"Ugh! I hate this!" I groaned before grabbing Davey by his shirt and taking off down stairs again.
We ran outside and looked both ways when a horn blasted beside us. Davey and I both jumped and I saw Damien, Paris, Sarah, Katie and Liz all laughing inside Paris's limo.
"Oh, you think this is funny? We've been chased down the block ever since we left the party" I pouted, opening the door and sliding next to Paris.
"Awww, I know. I stood there and watched you remember?" Paris said, holding my hand in her grasp. Davey closed the door and the limo pulled off from the curb.
"Such a horrible girlfriend" I mumbled teasingly. Paris gasped and put my hand against her lips and bit my thumb.
"Ow! What was that for?" I asked, taking my hand from her. "You called me horrible and I just threw an amazing party for you" she replied.
"That is right, Andie. She's been planning this party for quite some time" Liz said, shaking her head at me.
"She watched me being chased by teenage girls, some of which probably were minors!" I exclaimed. "What? You weren't going to do anything with them," Paris said, raising her brow at me.
"Or were you?" Katie added, smiling when Paris gave her a look. "Liz, you can drop us off over here" Damien said, taking Sarah's hand in his. Liz nodded and told the limo driver to pull over.
Damien and Sarah both stepped out the car before saying 'good night' to us all. "Oh, and Andie?" he said from the window.
I glanced over at him and he paused for a moment before speaking. "Think about our arrangement. I want to make sure that things…work out," he said. I nodded and Liz rolled up the window before we drove away.
Paris looked like she wanted to ask me what Damien was talking about but I shook my head. I wasn't going to be the one to tell her; At least not now. There were to many things going on and the last thing I wanted her to think about was her 'family', however dysfunctional it is.
"Are you still upset that I watched you be chased down the street by teenage girls?" Paris asked as we lay together in bed. Her head was resting on my right arm and I was running my fingers through her hair.
"No, I've actually gotten over that. In a way, I think I should feel proud that girls who I have never met want to chase me down the street, into some building, and back. It's almost a self esteem boost" I replied, laughing when she rolled her eyes at me.
"What was Damien talking about today?" she asked quietly. I sighed and leaned my head deeper into the pillow. "You have a movie offer and he was asking me…asking me if I thought you would want to be in it. He's going to be in the film too and, I don't know, I guess he just wanted to know if I would be alright with you leaving me to go shoot some movie" I replied in my alibi.
"They want me to be in a movie?" she exclaimed, sitting up to look down at me. I just nodded. "Andie, do you know what this means?" she said giddily. "You're going to be in a movie?" I asked, arching my eyebrows at her.
"No, well yes, but it means that this is a start. I'm finally getting some notice and people are actually interested in me if they want me to be in their movie. This could be the rise to fame that I was looking for. Being in a movie with Damien just adds to the fact that this could actually mean something" she replied in excitement.
"Yeah, you're right about that, I guess". I decided to leave the part about Damien being Paris's stepbrother out of our conversation, hoping that she wouldn't see through my lie but she was in too much excitement to actually notice my tone of voice.
"Andie, I can't wait to tell Liz! I should probably call her right now" she said about to get out of bed before I grabbed her. "Whoa! Hold on. Don't I get to thank you properly for throwing me such an amazing birthday party" I whispered, kissing her neck and pulling her back towards me.
"An-die. Don't…" she gasped, trying to pull away but I just held her tighter. "I need to talk to Liz," she giggled when I bit down softly against her.
"Later. In the morning. I don't care when just not now," I whispered seductively before moving towards her lips. "You know, I should make you fight temptation like you made me all those months ago" she teased, pulling away slightly.
I pouted and she laughed before kissing me. "But luckily for you…" she flipped us over and quickly straddled my waist. "I can't seem to resist you," she whispered in my ear.
I groaned when I felt her hands roam around my body before she pulled at my shirt. I pulled it off over my shoulders and threw it across the room. Paris leaned up and took off hers, showing me her amazing model body.
I leaned on my elbows as she pulled down my pajama pants and then her shorts. I watched as she climbed back on top of me and cupped my face, bringing her lips back against mine.
I deepened the kiss and reached up to hold her closer but she pinned my hands down and shook her head. "Unh-unh! It's your birthday, Andie. This is my present to you," she said huskily before slowly kissing me again.
I smiled against her lips as she grinned her body against mine and I wanted so desperately to touch her. "If it's my birthday, shouldn't you do what I say?" I teased.
She smirked at me and molded her body against mine to the point where I almost cried out.
"What do you want me to do?" she whispered. I bit my lower lip and sighed. "Let me touch you" I replied. She thought about it for only a moment before releasing my arms.
I dived against her mouth and she moaned before wrapping her arms around my neck and her legs around my waist. I wanted nothing more than to have Paris all to myself but I knew, sooner or later, she would leave to shoot her movie and I would be stuck here alone in our apartment.
I should make this night a memorable one, just for her…and maybe possibly for me too.
3 Hours Earlier
"Because she's my half sister," he replied. My jaw dropped and my eyes widened before I felt Damien pull me towards the corner.
"What? Why haven't you told her?"
"She doesn't need to know"
"Why not? You're her brother"
"Our mother isn't the best person in the world, Andie"
"I wouldn't know that, Damien. She doesn't talk about her past very much because she doesn't want to talk about it"
"And why do you think she doesn't? Because living with my mother did something to her Andie. Luckily, I lived with my father and my stepmother, so I didn't have to deal with her but Paris…she was the one who was trapped in her web for so long that I fear it did something to her"
"Damien. She has to know. She's thought she was alone for so long and you're her brother. Her own blood"
"I'm sure she has other siblings that we don't know about. Margret got around, relieving on her social status and money to get her whatever she wanted".
I looked over at Paris, who was smiling and talking with Sarah about her wedding. I wanted to know more about Paris's past. I wanted to know about her 'mother' and what happened that landed her on the streets for such a long time.
"Damien…I don't want to see her get hurt. I love her and I want to see her reach her dreams. I don't care what the cost is. I want her to be in the movie," I said sternly.
"Are you sure? The movie could bring up some events that she may not want to remember," he asked in concern. I inhaled deeply and nodded my head.
Paris was my heart and I wanted her to be happy and if this film could help her career, than I wanted her to do it.
"Andie! Come on; let's go for a walk. It's hot in here" I heard Davey yell as he walked towards me.
"Um…yeah. Sure thing" I yelled back, still staring at Damien. I gave him one last look before following Davey outside.
"What was that about?" he asked as we stood in front of the building. "…Damien is Paris's half brother" I replied in almost a whisper.
Davey's eyes widened and I nodded my head. "Does sexy know?" he asked. "No, she does not and stop calling her 'sexy" I replied, shoving him.
"What? You can't deny that she is," he said laughing. "But she's my girlfriend now and you can't say anything cause you're going to be a father!" I shot back.
"Touché, And" he said smiling. I smiled back at him. If I knew anything, I knew that I would never lose Davey as a friend. He would always be by my side.
"Oh my God! It's Paris Beaunet's girlfriend!" some brunette haired girl yelled before nudging her friends and pointing over at me.
"Yeah. I'm Andie Fluha-"Someone get her shirt! It's gotta be worth something!" one of the other girls yelled.
"I told you Andie. People will pay anything for a celebrity's shit" Davey mumbled. I glared at him before the girls ran towards us.
"Davey! Run!" I yelled, grabbing his arm and taking off down the sidewalk.
"Baby, where are you going?" Paris asked as I ran past her. "Being chased! Help me" I replied, slowing down a bit.
She looked down the street at the girls and laughed. "Actually, I don't think I will but have fun babe!" she said over her shoulder before walking back inside.
"You traitor!" I yelled after her. Davey pointed over to Damien, who was smoking a cigarette next to the wall. "Damien!" I yelled. He looked up at me and his eyes widened when he saw the group behind us.
He chuckled before waving at us and running towards his car. "Damien, you're just as bad as Paris!" I yelled. "Guess we're on our own buddy" Davey laughed.
"Shut up. I hope you can keep up Squirtle," I said over my shoulder. "Oh, you're on Fluharty".
We ran down the block and for a moment, I forgot all about my worries. For now, I would take each day as it came and hope that things between Paris would work out for the best.
"Why are they chasing me? I didn't even do anything!"
