Lex never considered herself the jealous type.

What was there to be jealous of? If anything, people should envy her. She had great friends, decent grades, and she knew where she was going with her life. She was going to become a famous model someday. Lex already modeled at some of the local smaller-budget shows and she always got good reviews.

There was no reason for her not to be content with her life.

Then why in the hell did she get that burning feeling of the little green monster every time she saw Jackson with Missy?

Because Jackson was the one thing Lex wanted most. The one thing she couldn't have.

No, of course she wasn't jealous of her best friend. How could she be jealous of something that was out of her control? She could do nothing but watch helplessly as Jackson went crawling back to her like a puppy after all the times she'd cheated on him.

So, instead, she kept her mouth shut and kept her petty jealousy to herself.

But that wouldn't stop her from eyeing the two of them in envy. She was in love, after all.

You see, it should've been me
It could've been me
Everybody knows
Everybody says so
