Hey, this is my First ONESHOT and I hope that everyone likes it.
It was summer time when Sarah seen him. The new bad boy in school, his name was Brandon, and he was the kid no one wanted to go near, but not Sarah. She had a thing for this bad boy. But something wasn't right about him.
For one he always kept to himself. At first Sarah thought it was that he was just shy, but then people tried to talk to him and he wouldn't do anything just say 'hi' and walk away. He did nothing really, just stayed by himself thoguh everyone knew something was bothering him. He was the outsider in the school then. And everyone kept away from him. Main reason why they kept away from him was because rumors went around saying that he was kicked out of 20 or so other schools before and this was his last chance to get anything right. If not, he was done for, and couldn't go back to any school after that.
The second reason that she thought something was wrong with him was that everytime she did see him it looked as if he was always crying, and this just made her feel bad for him. She hated when anyone was sad, and always tried to help someone. But with this kid, she was afraid that she would be called an outsider with him just for talking to him. She had a reputation in school one she wanted to keep.
Sarah was the popualr kid in school. One every guy wanted, and every girl wanted to be. She was beautiful, with long slender legs, and a great butt (to all guys). Her hair was long -almost all the way to her butt- and was black. She had recently died it black though, it used to be brown. But she hated brown hair. It didn't go with her.
Anyways, lets get back to this boy. This night she had seen him again he was crying, and for some reason she was willing to risk everything just to make sure he was okay.
Taking a deep breath she ran over to him and wrapped her arms around him. "Is everything okay?" She asked him with sure signs that she cared.
He looked up at her in shock really, then whiped his eyes before he spoke. "Yea." He said. Obvious lie.
She just stared at him. "It doesn't look like everything is." She said to him looking up at his red eyes. "You wanna talk?"
He laughed at that. "To you." He said. "Not a chance." Then he slipped her arms off of him and walked away.
She just stood staring at him as he walked away. What was that about? I didn't do anything to him. I don't understand. After he had turned the corner about 2 blocks or so away she figured that it was a good time to leave. Her house was about a mile away in the opposite direction so she figured she would jog home, it would be a good excuse to her parents on why she was late home.
But when she got home her parents where gone. They left a note for her telling her that they went out for dinner and they would bring something back for her. 'How messed up.' Sarah thought to herselt. 'Left me alone at home.'
With a sigh Sarah went to the kitchen and grabbed a soda then went upstairs to start her homework. She had math homework to do before the summer was over and she didn't get any of it. It was all just to much for her. She wasn't a nerd, and she hated math. By the time she finished her home work it was 9 p.m. and neither of her parents had come home. It was a bit weird but Sarah would ask about it later. As she got up from her bed she thought about the boy walking down the road, he was always on her mind, and that was just one problem. The other problem was that she had a boyfriend, a sophmore(10th grader) in her school. They had been together for over 9 months now, but nothing had ever happened. They walked together, to classes but that was it besides talking on the phone every, or almost every night. This was one of those night's.
So that night when she went to bed without talking to her boyfriend, and or eating anything, just like 5 out of 7 of the days in the week.
The next morning when Sarah got up she went out for a early morning jog, and again she seen the bad boy from her school. Today he looked a bit better, but still was to upset for anything. He wasn't crying again, but she could see that his eyes where really red, and looked as if he had just stopped crying. Sarah had no idea why he was crying though, but she did want to find out. So she started to jog toward him on the opposite side of the stree, but when he seen her jogging toward him he took off running around the corner, and dissapeared out of sight. Sarah just stared after him, upset. Why was he doing this? What was wrong with him? She was hopeing that some day she would find out what was really wrong. But as of right now she wasnt going to, so she jogged home.
The rest of the day just went by slowly. She ate dinner by herself again. At about 10:30 p.m. she went to bed.
When she woke up the next morning she felt like something was wrong, she oculd sence that something was. She also knew something was going to happen that day but she didn't know what it was. It wasn't going to be much longer in till school started and Sarah just really wanted to talk to this boy. She wanted in a way to get into his head and find out what was bothering him. So she went to find him. And when she did she grabbed his arm to try and stop him from running away.
"What is wrong with you?" She asked him. He turned aroung and just stared at her, not saying anything. So she repeated her question. "What's is wrong with you?" she asked.
"You." He said, heartlessly. Sarah didn't even flinch when he said that. Yea it hurt her, but she wasn't about ready to tell him that it did. She was one to keep her feelings to herself in till she was alone and no one could see her cry. But apparently she didn't hide it all to well, because his face softened up a bit and he just stared down at her. "I'm sorry." He said as he grabbed onto her arm.
Sarah pulled away quickly. "Just forget, I asked." Then she took off running down the road tears forming in her eyes.
She didn't realize that he was following her in till she got to her house. When she tried to close the door on him he just put his hand on it to stop it from closer. He was so much stronger then she was, and she couldn't do anything to stop him, but she did need to wipe the tears from her face before he seen them.
"I'm sorry." He said through the crack in the door. "I didn't mean it like that."
"Yea, you did." She said her voice breaking.
"No, I didn't."
"Really now." Sarah said as she opened the door. Her eyes where red now.
"Yes, really." He said moving into the house. He then moved his hand up to my face wipeing away the tears that got past. "I meant it as I can't do with liking you."
Sarah was shocked after that. He liked her. She couldn't believe that he actually liked her. She had liked him since the day he had moved here, well not exactually that day. She did get to know him for a little while. So for about a week in the school year she talked to him, but ended up falling for him.
"You're lying." She said looking up at him.
"No, I'm not." He said. "I don't lie. I have never lied."
For a second Sarah stared at him. "Prove it, then."
Forever she would regret telling him that. Because that's just what he did. He proved to her that he did like her by kissing her. It wasn't a long kiss just a short one and Sarah was upset when he had pulled away from her. "Enough?" He asked.
She just nodded, because she was just way to much in shock to do anything else then that.
"Good." He said, then he started to turn away to leave. "Oh, and by the way. I would keep that between just us. I don't want to ruin your life and your relationship with your boyfriend.
She looked up at him. "Oh. I forgot about him. Dang it." She said obvious that it was something that shouldn't have happened. "We shouldn't do that anymore." She told him.
"Well we wouldn't have to worry about it, if you broke up with him." He said.
"I can't." I said my head down.
"Yea, you could." He said. "You're just to afraid to."
"Am not." Sarah said in defence.
"Then brake up with him when school starts again. In front of me and everyone else."
"Why not?" He asked.
"I love him!" I told him, and this was the truth. I did love John, but I was so falling for Brandon.
"Yea. If you loved him then you wouldn't have kissed back." He said to her moving closer to her. "Tell me if you don't want me to kiss you again."
She just stared up at him, wanting him to kiss her again. "No." She said after he got inches away from her lips. "Don't."
"And why not?" He asked.
"I'm not a cheater." She said pulling away from him. "Now please leave."
"Okay, if you say so." He said before turning around to leave the house. "Just call me when you change you're mind." Then he was gone.
Sarah just stared at the sop he was at just seconds ago before she finally closed the door, but even when she closed the door she felt as if he was still there. Still kissing her, and still in her house. She felt horrible about kissing him when she had a boyfriend, but in a way she was kind of glad that it happened. She had never had her first kiss even though she had been with her John for over 9 months. They had never kissed.
The rest of August went by pretty fast and school was starting in 2 days, and Sarah was barely even ready to do what she knew was coming. Brandon was expecting her to break up with her boyfriend John, to be with him. Or her secret that she had kissed him could be out by the end out the day. She had no idea if he would keep that between themselfs. She hoped the he would because she wasn't ready then to brake up with John, she still loved him, or at least she thought she did.
For the last 2 days that she had of her summer Sarah went shoppping, extreme shopping. She went to every store she could think of. Anywhere she could get clothing, or things for school. But the time she was done with shopping she had spent about $500 on her clothing and all her supplies for school.
The night school was suppose to start Sarah wen to bed really early. When she got up the next morning she took her shower, brushed her teeth and her hair, and got dressed in her tight blue jeans and pink shirt. Then she went to her car to drive to school. Sarah had been driving since she was 16, now she is 17 and almost donw with school.
When she got to the school she seen that John was talking to some of his friends, and Brandon was not to far away from him. When Brandon seen me he winked, in other words reminding me about last night. I nodded at him then started to walk toward John. I knew what I had to do, and in a wanted to do. John and I had never really done much, just talked and walked together. It never did seem that we where going out.
She walked over to John, he never even noticed that she was next to him in till she said something. "Hello boys."
"Hello." John said not even looking at her. It was like he was pretending she wasn't even there. She hated when he did that to her.
"Um.. John.. We need to talk." She said.
"Not right now, babe. I'm busy." He told her waving her off.
"Um. No. We need to talk now." I told him.
"I'm busy." He repeated.
"I want to break up with you."
When he heard this he looked at me in shock for about 5 minutes before talking. "Excuse me?" He said.
"I want to break up with you." I repeated to him.
"Why?" He asked with tears he wouldn't let fall.
"Well one thing would be that you are always to busy to care about talking to me just like 2 seconds ago." I said.
"Oh." He said. "Okay." Then he bagan to walk away.
I know that I was completly harsh with braking up with him in front of his friends but he gave me no other choice. I watched him walk away then turned to where Brandon was with a big smile on his face. 'He would regret it later.' I thought to myself as I walked into the school.
The rest of the day went completly slow. John not once looked at me during any class we had together, and by the end of the day I felt like crap. I walked to my car a bit fast trying to get out of the school before anyone came up to ask me that the hell I was thinking about breaking up with him. And when I got there I seen that Brandon was leaning against the door.
"Hey." He said.
"Hi." I said back not looking at him as I walked to the drivers side and got in. Brandon got in on the other side.
"I can't believe you actually broke up with him." He said.
"And I can't believe you're in my car!" I yelled at him.
"Well sorry. Just wanted to talk to you." He said as he got out of the car.
I grabbed onto his arm then to pull him back in as I burst into tears. He held me to him as he patted my back and said everything would be okay. About half an hour passed before I had control of myself again, and pulled away from him to drive home.
No one had said anything to one another as we drove, and it seemed okay, but I hated the quiet.
When I got home Brandon came in with me, and my parents got to see him for the first time. They asked me who he was, and I told them that he was a friend from school. Then they asked about John, and I told them that we broke up. Other then that they didn't do anything about it.
Brandon and I ran up to my room where we did our homework and talked. He asked me how my day was, and I told him that it sucked. And of course with him he laughed. And after about 3 hours we had dinner then ran back upstairs to my room again to talk but this time he wanted to talk about him and I.
"So do you want to go out with me?" He asked me as i sat on my bed.
I just stared at him in shock when he said that. Of course I wanted to go out with him, but I couldn't say that just then. I had just broken up with my ex boyfriend John. "No." I said. "Not right now."
"Okay." He said. "I understand that."
"Thank you." I told him as I kissed him gently on the cheek.
At about 9:30 p.m. Brandon said he had to go home, and I offered to drive him so he didn't have to walk. He said thanks and we left.
When we got to his house about 10 minutes later Brandon turned to me thanked me again before reaching over to kiss my lips. The kiss that we shared this time was a gentle kiss unlike the last one we shared. This kiss was to tell me that I still had him, and that when I was ready I could tell him yes about going out with him. But in till then we would be friends.
A few days had passed and I could see that John had gotten over me withen minutes. He was with a different girl every day I seen him, and I swear at one point I actually thought I seen him kissing a girl behind the school. But I wouldn't let myself watch about it anymore, I took off running around the school just to run into Brandon again.
H he had this big smile on his face, at first when I seen his smile I thought it was creepy but then it got to me and I started to really like his smile.
"Hey." He said bending down to kiss my lips.
"Hey." I said back after we parted.
Brandon and I have been kissing randomly since I broke up with John, and I know that makes me sound like a slut, and all but he was really starting to get to me and I was really starting to like him more then I did when he first came to school.
"I've been thinking." I started llooking up at him.
"About what?" He asked smiling a little. It was like he could read my mind.
"Well... About us." I said. "I've been thinking that we could start to go out now. If you wanted."
"I do." He said. And I swear when he said that it sounded like he was saying 'I do' for being with me forever like marriage.
I smiled up at him. "Okay." Then I took his hand and we walked back to the school. I know what your thinking. The only reason I said what I said was because I seen John kissing another girl. Well in a way you would be right, but then again you would be wrong. I had been thinking about it all week, and him just kissing another girl just made me think about it more and really want to just tell him yes about it.
Brandon and I walked back the front of the school hand in hand with everybody watching us. I knew what they where all thinking. Something along the lines of 'What the heck is this girl thinking?'. It was normal though, they did the same thing when I was with John, so I was okay with it. They could think what ever they wanted to think about Brandon and I being together this was what I wanted. And I felt like a million times better with Bradon then I ever did with John. Brandon treats me right. Brandon is amazing, for how he treats me even though I really didn't know him, but he still treated me better then John did when I first met him. My life now was going to change, I knew that. And I knew that Brandon knew that.
I looked up at Brandon then. He was smiling down at me. "Everything's going to be alright." He said.
I nodded, because I knew he was right. No matter what happened during the rest of our lives it was going to be alright as long as we had each other. Which we would, forever.
