A Story From Nothing (micro fiction 100 words)
For an hour the cursor blinked at Jacob Flither, beckoning him to write. He sat at his computer with his fingers poised over the keys of his board. The vertical standard quarter inch stick didn't move. It teased him, taunted him, cried out for attention. But alas, his muse didn't come. He could see nothing but an empty canvas before him. It made him crazy that he couldn't think of anything to write. Writer's block. But then it stuck him and he began to type about nothing in particular. An hour later, his brainstorming mused the framework for a story.
