Cracks of light illuminate deathly sky,
Before succumbing into its breathless shadow,
Cold returns, striking sorrow and hatred,
To the dead core, leaving broken remnants,
Aching pain slowly drips down fragile glass,
Sizzling, venomous trails stain white clothe,

Harsh vibrations creep through thin barriers,
Forlorn and hate whip the air as leather snaps,
Cries of anguish beat from closed doors,
Body moved unknowingly, hand grasped,
Icy doorknob, ricochets of wind,
Echo as fingers twist, claws lengthening,

Lightening and thunder slice, stab one last time,
Glow bursts behind overwhelming clouds,
Halting breakable movements,
At least for now
