Please make sure to read the A/N and the disclaimer at the end of this oneshot. Thank you!
I think my back might have been against the wall that night. I couldn't tell you for sure, because all I was aware of was the feel of his body against mine. His warmth, however faint it might have been, surged through me and mingled with mine, as if we were one person. My heart felt like it was about to explode, but, strangely, I wouldn't have minded if it did.
"You don't have to do this, you know." His voice made my heart swell all the more.
"I want to." I said, my voice shaking. Even so, my words were full of complete certainty.
"Will it...hurt?" I said after a short pause.
"Maybe... I've never..." I could see him avert his eyes in the dim lighting. He looked back at me. "I don't think it will."
"You know, there's no going back after this." he continued.
"I don't care."
"It may not even turn out like you want it to."
I closed my eyes and tilted my head back, exposing my neck. "Just do it." I whispered. I heard him give a short, closed-mouth laugh.
"I admire your enthusiasm." There was humor in his voice, but I could tell it was only masking his nervousness.
I felt him lean in closer, then his breath on my neck. I opened one eye just a slit, but closed it again when I saw a slight sparkle come from his exposed canines, despite the lack of light.
I patiently waited to feel something. A sting, a stab, anything. Just as his lips gently brushed against my neck, a sound came from the back of the room, followed instantly by a harsh shushing. I felt Terrence turn his head sharply and move out of our embrace to stand in front of me protectively. I opened one eye, then the other, and blinked.
In the back of the dark room stood two small silhouettes. Upon hearing a click and seeing a flash, I realized one of them had a camera.
"Alice?!" I exclaimed.
"Jen?!" Terrence said at the same time.
One of them waved. "Heeey, T-dawg..." she said awkwardly. "How's it goin'?"
The other figure took another picture.
After an awkward pause, they both started running. Terrence made a move to chase them, yelling "Why you-", but I grabbed his hand. He looked back at me questioningly.
Suddenly, I burst out laughing. I clutched my stomach with my free hand and bent over.
"Sam!" Terrence exclaimed accusingly. "What's so funny about this?! You aren't, I dunno, annoyed at all by them?!"
I calmed down and brought him closer. "Of course I am, but most of all, I'm happy!"
"Because, as creepily obsessed as they are with us, I know it just means that they know a good relationship when they see one."
Terrence blushed, then gave a sweet little smile that made my heart jump.
Right then, I knew that maybe I wasn't ready for him to change me yet. I knew that for now, I'd just like to remain plain ol' Sam for a while.
Still, I couldn't wait for the day that he'd bite me and make me his, and he'd forever be mine.
A/N: XD I love picturing that scene! So cute! Anyway, this is pretty much for a gay couple. If you're a homophobe, don't read. If you simply MUST, which I don't know why you WOULD (though I'm quite proud of this one,) just imagine that Sam is short for Samantha or something. I dunno.
Disclaimer: These characters belong to Alice Rocker. (Except for Jen. That's me!) I own NOTHING but the oneshot-plot, so search 'Alice Rocker' and see the "The Title of This Story Blew Up" series for more on this pairing and their friend, Tori. (BTW, we call this pairing 'Serrence.' Cute, right? X3)
BTW: I bet for the first few paragraphs, the "that sounds wrong" part of your mind was in overdrive, eh? Admit it. XD
