Chapter 21

My god, you could cut the tension with a fucking knife!

I gulped, still sitting on the couch, staring up at Milo and mom. They just continued to stare at each other, until Milo suddenly took a step back, tilting his head.

"Would you like to talk privately, or is out here fine?" he asked.

Mom glanced at me, grimacing. "No," she said, shaking her head. "Out here is fine."

"Alright," Milo said, nodding slightly.

Mom cleared her throat, then straightened her spine, looking Milo in the eye. "I-I want to apologize for the way I acted when we last met."

I saw Milo consider her words, his stance finally softening a bit. "I can understand the shock," Milo said softly. "But, the way you just left...?"

Mom winced, looking down at the floor. "What I did...I didn't handle the situation well. But...I was just...shocked. I simply reacted, rather than thinking. A-and, I just needed to be alone to think. I didn't consider what that would do to Addison. How much that would hurt him," she said softly, looking at me with sad, guilty eyes.

I glanced away, hugging my knees to my chest.

"It took a lot of courage for him to tell you," Milo said.

There was a pause, and I looked back at mom to find her staring at the floor, her eyes watering. She quickly blinked the tears away, and said in a choked voice, "I know."

Milo suddenly sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. He gently placed his hand on the top of my head, lightly flexing his fingers. "Are you two okay now, at least?" he asked.

Mom looked at me, her eyes unblinking. When I slowly nodded my head, I saw a bit of tension leave here as she gave me a tentative smile, nodding her own head.

"Good," Milo said, ruffling my hair. "Now, is there anything else we need to discuss to clear the air?"

Mom shook her head, nervously wringing her hands.

"Um," I said, causing Milo and mom to turn towards me. "What's for dinner?"

After a few seconds of shock, Milo burst out laughing, and mom gave a quick chuckle, shaking their heads.

"Honestly, Add," Milo said, grinning at me. "You sure know how to change the subject."

I frowned at him. "What? I'm hungry."

"But, we just ate," Mom said, her brows furrowed.

Milo rolled his eyes, his lips twitching. "He's always hungry."

"Am not," I muttered, pouting a bit.

Scoffing, Milo gave me a small grin, then headed to the kitchen and began making dinner. We all sat at the dining table and quietly ate some beef stew, and I grinned when mom complemented Milo's cooking. I couldn't help but feel they were becoming used to each other. Making small talk, we soon finished, then gravitated to the living room to watch some TV. Mom and Milo ended up sitting on opposite sides of the couch with me between them, but at least the air wasn't as awkward as before.

I leaned against Milo's shoulder halfway through one of the shows, feeling my eyelids become a little heavier. Closing my eyes, I figured I'd rest them for just a second...

...and then I jerked awake when I was suddenly jostled, blinking blearily. "Huh?" I mumbled.

"Sweetie, you fell asleep," mom said, smiling at me.

I sat up from my leaning position on Milo's shoulder and stretched, yawning. "I think it's my bedtime," I muttered.

Standing, I went to the cupboard and grabbed some sheets, blankets and some spare pillows, then brought them back to the couch. Mom helped me pull out the couch and make in into a bed while Milo went into the kitchen and cleaned up, washing the dishes and putting everything away. Once he was done, he quietly informed me he'd go ahead and take Mickey outside to go to the bathroom.

Putting the sheets and blankets on to the bed, I stood back and admired our handiwork, nodding, hands on my hips. Milo finally came back with Mickey a little after we finished, then said night and headed up to bed, taking Mickey with him.

"Well," I said, turning to her. "Guess it's time for bed."

"Night, sweetie," she said, giving me a tight hug.

I hugged her back, saying, "Night. See ya tomorrow."

She leaned back, her hands on her shoulder as a strange look crossed her face. "Um," she said quietly. "Do-do you and Milo...I-I mean...were-were do you sleep?"

I placed my own hands on her shoulders gently, giving a small squeeze. "In mine and Milo's bedroom."

I saw her struggle with the info for a second, before she gave me a shaky, hesitant smile. "A-alright. Just-just wanted to make sure I wasn't taking your bed or anything."

I blinked, then hugged her again tightly. "I love you, mom," I said thickly. "Thank you so much for trying."

"I love you, too, honey," she said, hugging me back. "And, one day, I-I'll get used to it. It just might take me a bit of time. But, you're my baby and, and I'm gonna be there for you."

After a few more lingering good nights, we finally headed to bed, me upstairs and to the bedroom, mom to the couch. Shutting the door after me, I flopped face first onto the bed next to Milo, nearly lying on Mickey.

"How come he's in here?" I asked Milo, scratching Mickey's chin.

"I thought it'd be best. I don't want him waking up your mom at an ungodly hour."

I chuckled, then crawled over Mickey and flopped back down on the other side of him, closer to Milo.

"How are you feeling?" Milo asked, brushing my bangs away from my face.

"Mm, okay," I said softly. "I'm really happy mom came and talked to me. I-I feel a lot better now."

"Good," Milo said, pressing his forehead to mine.

Closing my eyes, I smiled, then suddenly asked, "Sooo....are you naked beneath the blankets?"

Milo laughed, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me tightly against him. "I don't know," he said. "Why don't you find out?"

Snickering, I sat up and yanked off my own clothes, then slid beneath the blankets and pressed my entire body against Milo's. "Mmm, you are," I murmured, kissing his neck.

Pushing me to my back, Milo leaned over me and brushed his lips against mine, cupping my head. I reached down and grasped him, grinning when he twitched against me. Growling, Milo tilted my had back and attacked my neck, kissing and nipping the sensitive flesh. Letting out a quiet moan, I paused, going still.

"Hey, you don't think my mom can hear us, do you?" I asked, feeling paranoid.

Milo froze, then pulled back and stared down at me. Sighing, he kissed my forehead, running his fingers through my hair. "I doubt it," he said. "But we could always continue this later when she's gone."

I splayed my hand on his chest, feeling his heart beat beneath my palm. Staring into his dark eyes, I grinned, lightly scraping my nails across his chest. "If I bury my face in the pillow, think it'll muffle my moans?"

Milo's eyes darkened as his hand slid across my chest, then farther down. I closed my eyes and whimpered when he cupped my length. Leaning back over me, he slid his hand back up and to my side, lightly grasping my hip.

"Roll over, then," he whispered in my ear.

I did what he said, laying flat on my stomach and sliding my hands beneath the pillow as I rested my head on top of it, looking at Milo with my head turned. Brushing my hair away from the back of my neck, he began kissing my nape, his hand sliding down my back to rest on my waist. Closing my eyes, I felt his mouth move slowly down as he kissed inch by slow, erotic inch, his tongue darting out and licking my skin.

Reaching the middle of my back, he slowly straddled me, his hands on my waist as he flexed his fingers. Nipping at my skin, his mouth followed the curve of my spine as he reached the hollow of my back. Pulling back, he slid his finger along my spine, beginning at my neck and ending at my tailbone, making me shiver.

"You have little dimples right here," Milo muttered, kissing two opposite spots on my lower back right above the curve of my ass.

I giggled, which quickly turned into a gasp as he kissed my ass cheek, his mouth opening and his tongue sliding along my skin, his teeth scraping against me.

"Milo," I muttered as his head moved closer to the danger zone, his hands slowly spreading my cheeks.

"Remember, Add," he murmured. "Muffle your noises."

I took a deep breath, then buried my head in the pillow as Milo grabbed my thighs, spreading them apart. Lifting my hips with his hands, he slowly pressed his lips to my opening, making me whimper and clench my fists. His hot breath brushed over me as he chuckled, and I quickly bit my lip and felt my hips move of their own accord in a small rocking motion.

Tilting my head forward, I took a deep breath of fresh air, then gasped out, "Milo, please! I want you inside me."

Milo growled, then aligned his body so it covered mine, his chest pressed against my back and his length bumping against my hole. Reaching beneath the pillow, he grasped my hand with his, covering it and entwining our fingers.

He suddenly paused, then cursed, his fingers tightening against mine.

"What?" I asked urgently.

"Condom," he breathed, his other hand reaching beneath me and grabbing my length, making me gasp again.

"Do we fucking need it?" I said through clenched teeth, leaning into his touch.

Milo paused, stopping his movements, causing me to make a frustrated noise. "I--" he muttered, then stopped.

"I'm clean," I said quickly, just wanting him fucking inside me already! "Are you?"

"Well, then, get on with it!"

Milo paused again, and I nearly cried. Kissing my neck, he muttered, "I don't want to hurt you."

"You're hurting me now! I'm gonna explode if you don't fucking hurry up!"

After a few seconds, I felt Milo move, his hand freeing my length and moving back to my ass, sliding one of his fingers inside me. I burried my face back in the pillow as I moaned, pushing back against his hand, wanting more!

Withdrawing his finger, Milo slid his hand around and splayed it on my chest, pulling my body harder against his. "I love you, Addison."

"God, I love you, too," I said as he slowly slid his hard length into my begging hole, stretching me painfully.

It hurt more than usual, but I didn't give a fuck, 'cause, God, now there was nothing separating us. It was absolutely amazing! He was so hot inside me, I was burning up. I yelled into the pillow, biting down and pushing back against Milo, arching my back.

"Fuck," Milo muttered harshly, sliding out, then thrusting back into me, holding my hips steady.

I reached back with one hand and tangled my fingers in Milo's dark hair, hanging on as he rapidly slid in and out of me, the friction electrifying. Biting my shoulder, Milo increased the pace, sinking deeper into me and hitting that spot, sending stars across my vision.

Taking a fresh breath, I reburied my head and moaned with each thrust, rolling my hips in time with Milo's movements. I felt our sweat-slicked skin slide against each other, making everything slippery and hot. Opening my legs wider, I whimpered as Milo went deeper, uttering a low growl and biting my neck.

Everything was so hot, and I could feel my release gaining on me, suddenly roaring over me like wildfire without any warning, making me cry out into the pillow and tense up around Milo, causing him to give one finally thrust before he finally succumbed to the raging inferno, too. And, ohmygod, the heat was spreading, and I could feel my insides burn as he spilled himself inside of me, his groan beside my ear filling my mind with his sound.

Panting, I groaned as I felt my body slowly relax, all my muscles aching and burning from exhaustion. Exhaling, I relaxed my body, letting it slowly lay back down against the bed, Milo laying down with me. Leaning on his elbows, Milo continued to lay on top of me, letting his head hang down and kiss the back of my neck softly.

"That was..." he muttered, his hair tickling my neck as he shook his head.

"Fucking amazing," I supplied, giggling breathlessly.

Turning my head, I glanced back at Milo, who quickly tilted his head and covered my lips with his. I grinned, still feeling giddy and breathless.

Once we caught our breath, Milo slowly withdrew from me, leaving me feeling empty. I grimaced a bit as I moved my legs, feeling a wetness between them. Flopping onto his back, Milo sighed, tangling his fingers in my hair as I rested my head on his chest and my arm around his waist.

"How are you feeling?" Milo asked.

I moved my legs, feeling a small pain in my lower back and ass. "Mm, okay," I muttered, nuzzling against him. "Nothing I can't handle."

"I'll take Mickey out in the morning so you can sleep in," Milo said softly.

I lifted my head and looked at him, smiling. "I'd like that," I said, kissing his chest. "Thanks."

Leaning down, he pressed his lips to mine, tilting my head up for a better angle.

"Anything for you, Add," he said as I closed my eyes and simply drowned in him.

I groaned, rolling over and staring blearily at the ceiling. Rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I sat up and looked around, discovering I was alone in the bedroom. Yawning, I stretched, then got out of bed and pulled some pants on, then figured I should put on a shirt, too, and headed downstairs.

Mom was sitting at the kitchen island, her hands around a steaming cup of coffee, while Milo was making breakfast.

"Mm," I said as I reached the bottom step. "Smells good. What's for breakfast?"

Mom smiled at me as I plopped onto the bar stool next to her. "Milo's making breakfast burritos."

I felt my eyes widen, and I grinned happily. "Yummy!"

Milo glanced back at me and chuckled, winking at me. I stuck my tongue out at him, then folded my arms on the counter top and rested my head on my arms, sighing and closing my eyes. "So," I said after a while. "What are we gonna do today?"

"W-well," mom said hesitantly. "Since your birthday's tomorrow, Milo and I figured we would go shopping for some gifts and stuff for you."

I opened my eyes and stared at her, then glanced at Milo, who still had his back turned as he cooked on the stove. "Uh, okay," I said doubtfully. Are they getting along now? I don't want them to fight or anything. They won't suddenly stop in the middle of the streets and start fist fighting, will they?

Okay, I know that's not possible, but still.

We had breakfast--which was freaking delicious, might I add--then Milo and mom took showers and got ready, then, after saying goodbye, headed out, leaving me along with Mickey.

"Well, Mickey," I said to the pup, glancing down at him by my feet. "Guess it's just you and me."

Mickey stared up at me for a second, then suddenly stood and trotted away, leaving me all alone.

"Fine, then!" I said, feeling a little abandoned. "I-I'll do something on my own!"

Heading upstairs, I took a nice, hot, long shower, made myself look kick-ass, got dressed into some skinny jeans, a shirt, my hat, then headed for the door and pulled on my sweater. Calling Mickey, I hooked him to his leash, then he and I headed outside, walking to the nearby dog park. I let him run free while I sat on my customary bench, leaning back and staring blankly at the sky.

Milo probably took mom downtown to do their shopping, so we had little chance of running into each other. Sighing, I decided to play with Mickey to pass the time, and, about an hour later, a tired Mickey and I left the park and began wandering around the nearby shops. Dodging someone flying by on roller skates, I grabbed a soda for me and a water for Mickey from a vendor, then sat down on a bench and watched all the people walking by.

It was a beautiful Saturday, so people were out in full force, shopping and walking and just doing whatever. Bored, I decided to head back home and do something there. Entering the loft, I unhooked Mickey, then plopped onto the couch and began watching TV.

God, this was gonna be a long day.

Jensen, Julia and little baby Harmony were able to come down for my birthday party.

Milo had reserved the white steel gazebo in the park for my party, and had Willy help him set up before he called me up and told me to come down. I was practically jumping up and down with excitement as I arrived at the park and saw the white lights strung up along the outside of the gazebo, along with the balloons floating along the ceiling.

My family, along with Willy's family, were all meandering about. The kids were playing with Mickey, while the adults chatted and sipped on their drinks. I hugged Milo, feeling touched he'd do so much for my birthday.

A large brownie sat on a table next to the gifts, and I couldn't help but stare at it longingly, feeling my mouth water.

"Hey," Milo rebuked me with a grin. "No sneaking bites of the brownie."

I stuck my tongue out at him, scrunching my nose. Chuckling, Milo dragged me away from the brownie cake and towards the chattering adults.

The rest of the evening was spent celebrating. Milo stuck some candles on my brownie-cake, and I blew them out as everyone sang me happy birthday. Everyone was boisterous and chatty, and I couldn't go a minute without grinning at something someone said. Once it was time to open presents, I had Benny, Willy's son, help me rip the gifts open, sticking the bows to the top of his head and laughing with him.

I got an expensive looking harmonica from my mom, an Ipod from Jensen and his family, along with some Hot Wheels cars from Benny. I made sure to give everyone a big smile after I opened their gifts. And then it was Milo's turn.

I watched with wide eyes as he lifted a big, wrapped box with a red bow on top. Setting it down in front of me, he sat down on the bench seat next to me, giving me a small, content grin. Licking my lips, I slowly tore off the wrapping paper, struggling to open the box beneath.

I gasped as I spotted the black and white, quickly reaching into the box and running my hands over the velvety smooth fur. Grabbing the stuffed animal, I lifted it out of the box, holding it high as I stared at it in rapture.

"You-you got me a--" I said, my voice suddenly deserting me.

"You said you wanted a panda," Milo said with a smirk.

"I-I-I--" Swallowing, I leaned towards Milo and threw my arms around him, holding my panda by the ear as I buried my face in Milo's neck. "Thank you, Milo," I whispered quietly.

"You're welcome," he said, his arms coming around me and holding me tightly.

I didn't want to deny Benny and his sister, Kate, Halloween, so we ended the party just as it was getting dark so the kids could go trick-or-treating. We decided to head back home to our loft and just hang out there. After cleaning up and packing everything away, we all piled into our vehicles, and Milo led the way to the loft.

Milo took Mickey out while I carried all my presents up to the bedroom, then came back down and helped put the rest of the brownie and everything else away. Making everyone some coffee, we all sat in the living room chatting about random things.

Jensen and Julia stayed for another hour, but then they had to leave since Harmony needed to be put to bed. I actually managed to give Jensen a hug good bye, and I felt my chest tighten as he kissed my temple, saying, "See you later, little brother. Happy birthday."

Once they left, mom, Milo and I simply sat on the couch and watched TV for a bit. I sighed happily, sinking down into the couch between Milo and mom.

"This was a great birthday," I said, reaching out and grabbing mom's and Milo's hands and closing my eyes. "Thank you guys."

"You're welcome," mom and Milo said simultaneously.

Chuckling, I continued to watch TV until I saw mom try to hide a yawn, making me grin. Stretching, I gave a loud yawn of my own, feeling something in my back pop. Standing, I helped mom make up her bed while Milo took Mickey out for one last round, then we all said good night and headed for our beds.

In the bedroom, once Milo and I were alone, I stepped up to him and wrapped my arms around his neck, pressing my body against his. "Thank you, Milo, for all this. For everything."

"Of course," he said, pressing a kiss to my forehead. "I'd do anything for you, Add."

I giggled, staring into his steel-gray eyes. "I love you, Milo. I really do."

"I love you, too, Addison," Milo said, pressing his lips to mine. "I really, really do."

Life couldn't get any better than this.

The End

A/N: Woah...I actually finished a story...OHMYGOD!!! THE END IS NIGH!! WE MUST RUN FOR THE BUNKERS!!

Ehem, anyway...

Yes, this is the end of Milo and Addison! I'm always willing to write little drabbles, though, and I may end up doing that later. Who knows? I may even do a sequel! I just thought like this seemed like a good spot to end the story, and I didn't want it to drag on or anything and become boring.

Anyway, I hope you've enjoyed reading about Add and Milo, and enjoyed watching them together as much as I have. ...Wait, that sounded kinda creepy... Oh, well. Till we meet again, my lovelies!
