hesitation waited at the doormat,
along with strangers and neighbors.
preocupation distracted itself,
from getting to the point.

curiosity was too innocent to kill the cat,
his guilt always held him back.
desire pined over every woman in the room,
while indifference never let him make a move.

misery doesn't truly love company,
not nearly as much as apathy.

empathy got confused for being affection,
giving pity to see someone else smile.

but, what's the matter with that?
