Ivory Angel

My ivory angel fell from grace

Once locked up in a secret place

A castle, a cloud so clean and pure

Eyes wide set, soft skin demure

A voice too numb sang songs too low

Music with cadence only he could know

This castle stormed and left to die

An angel leaps from a once blue sky

An embrace, a kiss, a lover's caress

He helped her remove a bloodstained dress

My ivory angel fell from grace

All wrapped in bandages of silk and lace

The sun sets on a castle burnt

No way back up, can't stop the hurt

Mortal air helps tears to dry

Wine's too thick on lips that lie

My ivory angel fell from grace

Now banished to the human race
