There once was a girl

with a cold glass heart,

and a boy who thought

he could hold it

The girl had scars that

longed to heal and

feelings that longed to be

shown

The boy whispered soft

promises into her ear, like a

long needed life line to

cling to

So easily she found

herself next to him, and

she longed to stay,

for awhile

He took her

hands, he captured her

lips, and slowly

stole her

heart

but glass is not

so easy, to

hold on to

from his hands slipped

her fragile heart,

to the floor where it

shattered into deadly

shards

She tried to pick up

the peices,

but was only left

with bloody hands

There once was a girl

with a cold glass heart,

and a boy who thought

he could hold it

And all thats left

is broken remains,

that leave scars,

and shattered glass
