Somewhere In Your Soul Lies A Little Hole (May 1)

Forget who you are and who you were
and just endure this long, withering May.
It'll be fine at the end of the day.

Somewhere in your soul lies a little hole
that wants to be filled with love.
So try your best to fill it all.

It doesn't matter if you can't fill it all the way through.
Even if you can't, something beautiful can happen, so look.
Observe my butterflies that I vomit out of my mouth
and feel their sickness and sorrow that I can do without.

Forget those things, they only cause pain.
It's as selfish as the catholic bible, saying you'll be loved again.

We're kicking off The Withering May with an amazing poem, which serves as a great start to what I feel is going to be a great month. I have a lot of things in mind for this summer, such as writing stories, writing songs, and of course, keep writing poems. Stay tuned for any of those coming in this next 3 months.
