Frozen boogers block my breathing
Fingers, face, and toes are freezing
Purple lips and running nose
Oh how I wish for winter's close
(A/N Originally, this was done as a class project and then submitted to a poetry contest. Since I never heard back from them, I doubt I won. Don't know why, this poem is super classy... well, maybe not. Hope you got a good laugh out of it anyway!)
P.S. I'm from Minnesota, so you live someplace where it doesn't snow in the winter... well, I'd love to come visit you for about seven months!
