It is in great sorrow that sometimes we find happiness. Sometimes, within the despair, it can be hard to find. Deep within the darkness, sifting through the open flames and broken hearts, a beat can still be heard. The darkness can grab at your arms and legs, pull you down until your hands are raw and bleeding. The sorrow can deepen with every breath you take, but as you inhale your last breath, happiness finds you. It can glow softly at first, giving you just enough hope to linger on, until it finally engulfs you. No longer can the sorrow penetrate your heart, while the happiness fills its place.
