Why the world didn't collapse, I would never know
It could have been the enormous tangled mess of intensity
That kept it floating on thin air while
The sun did collapse, with unimaginable waves
Of heat and energy flowing
Through the never ending space without diminishing
And destroying everything in its path
But the world remained
World
Your way of interpreting that word
Depends on how you see it
The earth?
Your head?
Everything?
Those last two are not to be separated
Because,
just as 'world',
'everything' is only what you think it is
And that's pretty limited
Let me tell you
Because no one
Knows.
