The Boy and Her Majesty

Cookies cut from mounds of snow

Boy blinded from gray eye's glow

She knows, but a queen never tells
A beauty in the blue bells

Her smile of lantern lights

Never fail to fly his sky, runaway kites

Still, cradle quiet he keeps

Breathing before he leaps

And so, Fate twiddles his thumbs

As the queen sighs, leaving her crumbs
