I Have Nothing More to Offer

The scent of rabbit flesh wafts in the air;
leads the fox to her siren.
Rabbit has always been bold prey.

We are never satiated, until we have
torn the other apart in lust and hate.
Where is the line between desire and disgust?

Take me into your body, so we'll never separate.
Darling, we are both dead.
Lay with me here tonight, even eternity
would not be long enough.

Take my final offering:
my innocence on your altar,
with the rose petals leaving their stains.
A smile as your dagger pierces me
deeper than any before.

(Yahweh would be proud.)
