Hi guys. Soooo got this idea in my head after I was texting my boyfriend/annoyer. He was telling me about everything he used to do in high school, and all this other stuff. And he started telling me about how he was such a d-bag in high school, and how he and his friends were so popular and blah blah blah (freaking jerks) haha. Well anyways here's the story read review, pweease give me ice cream, and check out Dark Blood, and my other story Nightfall. Please and thank you :)
"Aw but baby," Zachary "Zack" Thompson said to his girlfriend Jana. Ooh poor poor Jana. Once again the famous Zack Thompson has cheated on her again. See this is why I don't date. Because of guys like him. So let me give you a little info on Zachary Thompson. He is a senior at Northcrest High School like me. He's tall, dark hair, lovely green eyes, gorgeous face, gorgeous body! Hell! He's the freaking poster child for SEX! Literally. He's slept with oh hmm Carla, Jamie, Alison, Dana, basically every female at Northcrest High who meets his quota. Which would be pretty and can't see past his scheming ways. But hey if they want to open their legs to him then who am I to stop them. Even my best friend, my only friend, Lisa Dragmore (yes that is her actual last name) slept with him. I think it was freshmen year that it happened. Luckily I'm smarter than that.
"No Zack that's like the third time it's happened," Jana cried, tears making mascara run down the sides of her face. Poor idiotic girl. This is the third time he's cheated on her and yet she still chooses to go back to him. Oh well her choice her life.
"Look it won't happen again okay?"
She gazed up at him with her muddy brown eyes. "You promise?"
He smiled. Almost devilishly. "Anything for you babe."
I rolled my eyes as she gave him a quick kiss on the lips then trotted to the girl's restroom to fix her face. I sighed dreading to go in her exact same place since they indeed had been blocking my locker. Zack was standing there watching me silently as I did my combination.
"Staring problem?" I asked as I got my Chemistry book from my locker.
I could feel him smirking. "I can't help but stare, Courtney. You are one sexy girl. You know what they say."
I gave a little laugh and turned toward him. "No but I'm sure your gonna tell me anyway."
"Black hair plus blue eyes equal a killer combo and baby you are a knockout. Just pull that ponytail down, stop dressing like an old librarian and ditch those cruddy sneakers and you'd be the hottest thing here."
Hey! I liked my cruddy sneakers. I sighed and was just about to close my locker door when someone did it for me. It was Taylor. Zack's friend. Ah yet another hot popular boy. Taylor is a fighter. Quick with his fists, and has a temper that makes a redhead seem tame. One word could set him off, literally. He takes the MMA (mixed martial arts) to a whole new level.
"What now?" Zack asked laying a hand on his shoulder.
Taylor shook his blonde hair causing sweat to spray.
"Playing football out on the field. Got done and started talking to Ava, and Josh started giving me some looks-"
"Well duh!" I said in outrage. "Ava is Josh's girlfriend!"
Taylor looked down at me and narrowed his bright gray eyes. They churned, like an oncoming storm. "Who the fuck asked you?"
I slammed my book shut. "I hope you get expelled!"
"Yeah," he shouted back as I walked down the hall, "and I hope your dad doesn't mind that I had your mom bent over my headboard last night."
"He won't!" I screamed with tears down my face. "They're not together anymore!"
Taylor rolled his eyes. "Yeah with a daughter like you I can see why."
I continued to stroll my way down the hall.
"She's such a loser!"
"Look at her clothes."
"Wow I wonder where she shops Lezbos R Us"
"Haha stupid bitch!"
I wouldn't let them get to me. I couldn't. Hell I was the only one left who wasn't charmed by the Man whore, the Jerk, and the Class Clown. I walked into Chemistry and seated myself next to Lisa.
Lisa, is blonde. Uber blonde. I'm talking white trash blonde. No offense to Lisa. She has completely dark brown roots and the rest of her hair is white blonde. She was wearing it in curls today sporting a white tube top, a denim mini skirt, and white platform shoes. I shook my head. Yeah I was starting to believe that I was the only one who wasn't going crazy this year. Even the freshmen, the gay guys, and the overweight people were in love with the Populars. God I felt like I was on an extra on an episode of Degrassi.
"Oh my god! Did you hear?" Lisa started.
"What?" I asked.
"Jeff just told Mr. Blaine that he didn't want to partner with Sylvia because she might break the test tube with her face."
And my favorite last but not least, Jeff. Jeff is the Class Clown. Also popular also a typical sex god like Zack and Taylor. I turned around and looked at the desk behind me. Jeff had his hat on backwards, earphones in jamming out to his Ipod. Light brown curly hair sprouted out from underneath the hat catching bits of sunlight showing off those dazzling highlights in his hair. Lisa followed my gaze and her lips tilted up at the corners. Jeff paused catching our gazes. Lisa waved. He smiled back showing that one dimple in his cheek. His amber eyes were blazing. He got up inching his way closer until he was seated upon the table top in front of Lisa.
"Hey Lisa," he said that smile of his growing deeper.
"Hi Jeff," she gushed. She was practically drooling!
"Wanna be my partner?"
"Sure," she exclaimed twirling a curl around her finger.
"Lisa!" I shrieked. "Your my partner!"
Lisa gave me an annoyed look. "Don't screw this up for me," she whispered.
So it ended Lisa being partnered with Jeff and me doing this project by myself. Ugh. I couldn't have any peace around here. Everything was popular central. You shouldn't have been surprised, Courtney. You know Lisa. Just like with Zack and Taylor: one date, a few drinks, then sex, then she'll come running back to you about how men suck because they'll be tonguing some random girl and pretend like they didn't know Lisa to begin with.
I was eating lunch...by myself. Lisa was eating with Jeff. Feeding him grapes while sitting in his lap. I shook my head and started down at my own plate of food. Suddenly I wasn't so hungry. Why did it feel like I just been double-crossed. Maybe because you were you dummy. I looked back up. Everyone from the Popular's table was staring at me.
Lisa beckoned with one finger for me to come over. I shook my head. She rolled her eyes and started waving her hands excitedly. I sighed and got up. When I got to their table Jana snickered.
"Nice hairdo still sporting things from middle school I see."
"Yeah still bitchy from this morning I see."
She closed her mouth.
"Courtney, leave my girl alone," Zack mumbled.
"Gladly." I turned to Lisa, "was there something you wanted."
"Yeah will you um do our chem project?"
My mouth gaped open. "Are you serious?"
"Well we're going to Taylor's football game tonight, and Jeff and I won't be able to turn it in by tomorrow so I was just wondering-"
"Forget it!" I grabbed my tray and started to walk away.
Lisa scoffed and did her signature hair flip. "No wonder you've gone from C class to P class?"
That stopped me in my tracks. I turned around and narrowed my eyes at her. "Excuse me?"
"You heard me," Lisa said smirking, "You've gone from C to P."
"Don't you mean C to F?" I asked.
"No P for pathetic. Your the most hated bitch in school, and the only reason I'm friends with you is because I feel sorry for you and the fact that you get me a C minus in Chemistry and Advanced Math."
Laughter rang in my ears all around me. Lisa smirked and planted a kiss on Jeff's lips. I took a deep breath and walked out the cafeteria. They were still laughing. They needed a lesson. Maybe if some girl, at least one girl could break them down they wouldn't be such douches.
I smiled ruefully.
"The Man Whore, the Jerk, and the Class Clown prepare to meet the Heart Breaker. Because things are about to heat up."
