"Today, we are going to clean the house!" Madoka announced as she barged into her second older sister's room. Or at least, she attempted to barge. Meeting the door full-on, she stopped dead in her tracks. Although said door was slightly ajar, it was thoroughly solid and would not move an inch.

Poking her head through the small gap left between door and doorway, she was struck by how dark Ayumu's room was. "Ayu-chan?" she asked, trying to shove the door open.

"Hey! Cut it out!" Ayumu hissed across the dark room. "I'm trying to sleep here!"

Madoka rolled her eyes. "It's 12:00, Ayu. Come on! We can't all sleep forever."

"And," she added, "We can't all keep all of our stuff on the floor!"

"I'll just defenestrate it all when I go off to college," Ayumu mumbled into the pillow.

"What's that supposed to mean?'

"I'll chuck it all out the window."
