Dreaming of tomorrow

darkened wings do sprout

Destined to now follow

defiling fears of doubt

Ever did they ponder

every lessened bite

Each mouthful they did squander

empty, pure and light

Abdicating fun

always more to lose

Aiming to weigh none

a monster turned to muse

Deadened to the pain

decaying from within

Delusions now do reign

dying to be thin.
