Sugarcoated lies forced down my throat,
A desperate hopelessness evident through the tears,
Last attempts as the crystal sweet mirage
Melted right before my red rimmed eyes,
Leaving the true bitterness to be choked on,
It looked perfect, and oh so tempting,
To just give into the display you put forth,
That small bow perched daintily, almost mocking,
Innocent disguise roused by your trusting face,
A painted smile just tied the hidden together,
And was as sour as the truth
