Epilogue

Dearest Heart,

I have grand news, I shall be home in two days, I might in fact arrive even before this letter is delivered. I'm driving back on the curricle with Jones. Fret not my love, we will be perfectly safe; taking the main road and setting out at dawn. I hope you and the little ones are faring well. I cannot believe I miss all the noise, perhaps I should be interred at Bedlam? You mentioned in your last letter that Phillip is now able to stand on his own? I do hope he hasn't taken his first steps, carry him everywhere you go madam! I would hate to miss seeing him take his first steps. Though I feel very certain that would amount to some form of child cruelty, don't you think? I hope Jackson's indigestion has gone by now, I bought some mixtures that will help with that if it's still a problem. I miss you all so terribly. Holston insists that I must be put under some spell to be running back home -to my "shackles" as he calls you- after only a fortnight in Town. He's planning on following after me in about four days, hopefully that won't be too much trouble; he did stay quite a while last time, didn't he? He denies my claims of his hypocrisy with a vengeance.

Ellis and Madalene send their love as well.

I love you sweet. See you soon.

Will.
