I'm not crazy about this title, but ever since I wrote this I've been kind of enamored with it. It's a lot darker than what I usually write, though. Hopefully that isn't a bad thing.

I see it written on your face,
You don't have to say something's wrong.
But I don't shed a single tear
'Cause I'm stuck here and you're so far gone.

Things are pretty dull for me.
I'm running on fantasies every day.
I'd like to feel a thing or two,
So clue me in before you run away.

I don't have any plans, you know.
Could you drop me a line when you go?

When you go, I want to come too.
I could wait, but what good would that do?
I would make a great date for the ride.
I'm not alive, but I take it in stride.

You say that you're in misery.
It seems to me that you're doing well,
With perfect little tragedies,
A place to be and a tale to tell.

History's a big deal, you know,
And I'll write yours down when you go.

When you go, I want to come too.
I could wait, but what good would that do?
I'd keep up if you were my guide.
I'm not alive, but I take it in stride.

Fiction only lasts for so long
Before it's useless to me.
You can go through this process alone,
But where would all that leave me?
Hollow again, naturally.

I don't have any plans, you know.
Could you drop me a line when you go?

When you go, I want to come too.
I could wait, but what good would that do?
If this fails, then at least I tried.
I'm not alive, but I'll take it.

When you go, I want to come too.
I could wait, but what good would that do?
Lend a hand and let me inside.
I'm not alive, but I take it,
Not alive, but I take it,
I'm not alive, but I take it in stride.
