I can't see. I can't see. I can't see! Yet I can still cry! Why do you curse God? I did nothing wrong! Unless my birth was a mistake! God? Ha! He doesn't exist! If he did…my life would be different.

"Do you understand me ?" a balding man around his late forties said sternly to a girl with black sunglasses holding a thin steel bar about half her size. She wasn't listening, but he didn't know that. She nodded her head and the man smiled. "Since I am the principal, I have given you the pleasure of me showing you around the school. You had such a great honor." He flattened his few, precious strand of hair before he looked at her closely. "Your homeroom is here." The sunglasses girl walked in and saw a bunch of high schoolers. Some were texting, others were talking, passing notes, throwing paper balls, and most of all…the irritable noise of chewing gum. The girl walked to the homeroom teacher who seemed around his early twenties.

"You're that new student right?" The teacher asked with a bored tone, not really caring. "Class! This is Rose. Treat her nicely. Take a seat wherever." A girl with blonde hair did a double take on the Rose and snorted. She saw the tall but slim girl wearing skinny jeans with holes in them, not made on purpose. Her black tank top, showing off her nicely sized breasts and waist. She had black, long flowing hair that reached her waist. She was fairly tall but not too tall. As she moves her hair from her right ear, it reveals a normal silver piercings with three silver rings on the side of her ear. Her straight black hair wasn't the only eye catching thing about her. She had a small face with perfectly red lips. Her nose was perfect, all that was left was to check out her eyes. The blonde girl scoffed in her red and white cheerleader outfit.

"Check out the dork Aidan." The blonde whispered lustfully, indicating she was talking to her boyfriend. She had huge boobs and overly glossy lips. Her eyes hazel, hiding dark secrets and her true side. A boy with shortish, spiked hair looked at the blonde with dazzling blue eyes. His face overly handsome, he checks out Rose heading towards him. She sat next to him, in the corner of the room. She shifts her black messenger bag to her desk and leans back.

"Nice to meet ya. I'm Aidan." His big shining smile made him look even cuter. Rose simply ignored him and takes out her small black Mp3 and puts in earphones and looks out window. Aidan exchanges looks with his friends and his blonde girlfriend.

"Aidan actually talked to you! You should be happy!" The blonde shrieked. Seeing Rose not listen, she stands up and walks over to her. She pulls out one of Rose's headphones, Rose turns her head to her. "I said you should apologize to Aidan." The blonde girl hissed threateningly.

"No." Rose replied, her voice clear and beautiful, it was cold and calm.

"APOLOGIZE!" The blonde girl yelled, everyone seemed to be watching them now.

"Why?" The blonde girl shakes with anger and slams her hand on Rose's desk loudly. Rose didn't even flinch, she turns her hand into a fist and smashes it against the blonde girl's manicured one. The blonde girl screamed and began to cry as she rushed over to Aidan.

"Rose. Detention. " The teacher said without batting an eyelash. The blonde girl sneaked an evil glance at Rose but didn't see what she wanted. Rose didn't change expressions instead of freaking out, she out her headphone back in her ear and looked out the window.

"Um…Meg? You okay?" Aidan asked at the blonde girl who had her arms wrapped around him. Meg nodded with a sniff and quivering lip.

"I just wanted her to apologize to you…"

"Thank you." Aidan smiled at Meg and she let go. She walked back to her desk and began fixing her hair.

The class ended and the bell rang. Everyone got up and walked to their next class, Aidan walked in front of Rose, causing her to bump into him. "What?" She asked coldly.

"I'm sorry about Meg, she didn't mean harm." He answered honestly. Rose went to the side and walked to her next class. Aidan followed her, apparently going to the same class. Meg came in and hugged Aidan's arm, kissing him on the lips. They began making out but they stopped and walked hand in hand to their next glass. As they walk in they see Rose talking to the teacher.

"I don't remember you in my class." He commented rudely.

"I'm new." She rummages through her bag and pulls out a yellow note. She gives it to him and he grunts as he reads it.

"Take a seat. But before that take off your sunglasses." Rose took them off and stuffed them in her bag. He gasped at her eyes and sighed. Her big eyes were a pale white color, as if she was blind. "Never mind. Just go to your seat." Rose puts her sunglasses back on and no one saw the, except the Teacher. She was forced to seat in the middle, in front of Meg. Meg giggled as Rose sat down, playing her mp3.

"Your life is going to be hell from this day on until you graduate." Meg whispers in Rose's ear.

"Too late." Rose replies coldly. Meg seemed taken aback but snickered evilly. One by one paper balls hit Rose's head. Rose stand turns around and bangs her bar against Meg's desk. "You gotta do better than that, bitch. Or I might beat you at your own game." She leaned close to Meg's face intimidatingly as she spoke. Her voice was soft but very scary, it sent shivers down Meg's back. Everyone stopped as they saw Meg's pale face.

"Rose. Detention." The teacher spoke.

"Two detentions in one day, good going new kid." Meg added obnoxiously. Rose sat down and no one threw paper balls at her again.

Two detentions in one day huh. She's going to be a problem. "After this class, you guys are going to singing session for the rest of high school. Ignore your next subject and just go to the music room."

Rose's lips perked up in a small smile as she heard the news then blasted her Mp3 loudly. The bell rang indicating class was over. Rose swung her bag over her shoulder and walked to the music room, small excitement went through her. She saw a familiar figure and smiled sweetly as her. She was a young woman with brown messy hair and green eyes that you could look in for hours. "Hey Rose. How's your first day so far?"

"Got two detentions." The woman gaped at her. "Long story, Emily. Can I warm up before everyone arrives?" Rose asked, looking at an electric guitar.

"Thought you'd never ask." Emily replied softly. Rose smiles and picks it up and starts tuning it and plugging the wire in the speaker. She begins playing the guitar to a wonderful sound and begins to sing in a clear, beautiful, gentle voice.

"Only a sea of debris and scars are left,

I remember the warmth in your right hand,

The voices of the lonesome you and me rusted,

I wanted something in return,

My body didn't move and my voice rusted away,

My heart's pain grew in the peace I once had,

Can you hear it?

The unclear and off-pitch,

With a trace of an echo,

The spotlight imitated by the twilight,

But I'm taken in the darkness,

And here, before I'm wiped away. Please sing,

My body didn't move and my voice rusted away,

My heart's pain grew in the peace I once had,

Can you hear it?

Like overlapping rainbows

Making a trace of an echo."

Rose stops singing and plays a little more guitar then stops. She smiles childishly at Emily's smiling face. She puts down the guitar and sits down on a desk and sees Meg come in. Soon everyone comes in and takes their seat. Emily claps her hands together and smiles bigly. "Ok, I want everyone to start off with a song they want to sing. It'll start with however wants to go first." No one raises their hand. "Anyone?" She sighs and then sees Rose stand up and walk to the electric guitar. She starts playing the guitar for a while then stops and begins to sing. She plays the guitar in certain parts perfectly.

"Catch me as i fall

Say you're here and it's all over now

Speaking to the atmosphere

No one's here and i fall into myself

This truth drives me into madness

I know i can stop the pain if i will it all away

Don't turn away

Don't give in to the pain

Don't try to hide.

Though they're screaming your name

Don't close your eyes

God knows what lies behind them

Don't turn out the light

Never sleep never die

I'm frightened by what i see

But somehow i know that there's much more to come

Immobilized by my fear

And soon to be blinded by tears

i can stop the pain if i will it all away

Don't turn away,

Don't give in to the pain,

Don't try to hide,

Though they're screaming your name,

Don't close your eyes,

God knows what lies behind them

Don't turn out the light,

Never sleep never die .

Fallen angels at my feet

Whispered voices at my ear

Death before my eyes

Lying next to me i fear

She beckons me shall i give in,

Upon my end shall i begin

Forsaking all I've fallen for i rise to meet the end."

She stops singing the stops playing the guitar. Everyone stares, dumbstrucked and awed, all speechless. Emily smiles a little to herself. "Okay! Who wants to go next?" Meg puts on a sour expression then raises her hand. "Ok, Meg's next."

There's no way I'm letting that bitch outshine me. Meg gets up and walks to the front of the class where Rose is putting down the guitar and grabbing her steel bar. Rose walks back to her sit and looks at Meg.

"I pick all my skirts to be a little too sexy

Just like all of my thoughts they always get a bit naughty

When I'm out with my girls I always play a bit bitchy

Can't change the way I am sexy naughty bitchy me

I'm the kind of girl that girls don't like

I'm the kind that boys fantasize

I'm the kind that your momma and your daddy were afraid you'd turn out to be like

I may seem unapproachable but that's only to the boys who don't have the

Right approach or ride that makes a girl like me wanna hop in and roll

People think it's intimidating when a girl is cool with her sexuality

I'm a 180 to the stereotype girls like staying home and being innocent.

My mouth never takes a holiday

I always shock with the things I say

I was always the kid in school who turned up to each class about an hour late and

When it comes to the guys I'd lay, I'd always pick the ones who won't figure out that

I was clearly rebel to the idea of monogamy

People think it's intimidating when a girl is cool with her sexuality

I'm 180 to the stereotype girls like staying home and being innocent.

People think it's intimidating when a girl is cool with her sexuality

I'm 180 to the stereotype girl like staying home and being innocent.

I like all of my shorts to be a little too shorty

Unlike all of my guys I like them tall with money

I love all of my nights to end a little bit nasly

Can't change the way I am sexy naughty bitchy me

I pick my Skirts to be sexy

Just like my thoughts a bit naughty

When I'm out with my girls...bitchy

Can't change I am

Sexy naughty bitch me."

Everyone starts clapping even though majority don't want to. Meg glances at Emily and has a smug look on her face. It was horrible, especially the song. Plus she's a bitch. Emily thought rudely. "Ok anyone else?" Meg takes her seat.
