In this busy world, I know you are lost,
You labor day after day with no light,
Climbing that ladder no matter the cost,
And thus you will always suffer at night.

The loneliness just nibbles at your soul,
But there's not even the time to escape.
Your dead-end career has swallowed you whole,
Even your body is losing its shape.

If you could only see life through my eyes,
And see the beauty of thoughts on a web,
Your suffering and loneliness would ebb,
And the light would erase all the dark lies.

But I can never be your source of light,
I am merely showing you some insight.
