Epilogue

The airport is crowded.

We – The Brainiacs – are all here to fly out to our universities.

The summer break proved to be filled with bonding sessions, reminiscing and figuring out timetables to get together over our breaks.

It's good to be out of school, away from the hustle and bustle of school life, although I must say I have to adjust my body routine all over again.

Imagine's helping with that.

We're saying goodbye to Ronan and Adam before they board their planes.

"This is weird." Imagine says to the two. "I won't be seeing you guys for a few months."

"Bit of a change from every day, eh?" Ronan says, reciprocating the hug Imagine gives him. "I'm going to miss you."

"Me too." She turns to Adam, wrapping her arms around him too. "I'll miss you as well."

"I know." Adam says, hugging her for a tad bit longer than what can be classified as reciprocating. "I will too."

"It's only a few months guys." Imagine says cheerily, but she's starting to tear up. "God, look what you're turning me into."

She laughs and Adam hugs her again. "Stay well Immy."

Ronan offers his hand to me. "Until next time, Daniel."

I grin. "Will do Ronan."

Adam gives me a weaker handshake.

Coward.

"Until December!" Ronan waves, as he and Adam leave.

We all turn around to go to our boarding gate, which is boarding. Imagine is behind me, talking to Jack and his girlfriend Jeanette about Black Ops, no doubt to forget about the absence of Ronan and Adam.

Our progress is slow, considering the amount of people in the airport.

"We're going to be late."

"Oh, don't be such a fusspot." Imagine chides.

"Sorry."

We finally make it to our gate and all pass through it, Jack and Jeanette running up ahead of us. They're always rushing into things. Imagine sys they're like puzzle pieces.

I turn around to smile at Imagine.

She's wearing my green jumper again, her smooth legs encased in tight black denim.

Looking at them is giving me flashbacks of last night when I explored every inch of them along with the rest of her perfect self for the first time.

Imagine is looking at me. "What?"

"Oh, nothing." I say, wrapping my arms around her slim waist and pressing a kiss to her nose. "Just thinking of how beautiful you look. Plus you're still walking funny."

Imagine blushes. "Yeah, well, you aren't. Seriously, God wasn't thinking when he made women. Guys get let off so easy."

"Are you complaining?" I say cheekily.

"No." She says. "But it's going to take a little getting used to."

"Is that a hint?"

"A rather blatant one."

"I thought so. I was just checking."

She smiles at me, rubbing her nose against mine. "I love you Dan."

I don't reply, instead kissing her for a long time. She tastes as perfect as always, her own unique Imagine-taste.

I pull away to clasp her hands tightly in mine.

"I love you even more Immy."

DAS ENDE

It's over! My greatest apologies for not updating in a while - a combination of lack of internet, loose plot, insomnia, moving house and a severe case of Writer's Block. But thanks for reading this story - it's been amazingly fun to write, but also challenging as well. Hope it lived up to your expectations. Sorry for cutting it off all of a sudden, but I felt I couldn't drag it on any longer. So yeah, thanks guys!
