Andy

I got back to the hospital with Faye's bag of clothes and walked into the waiting room where I saw Hanna and Brian arguing. Jake was holding Hanna back, while Chris and May were trying to calm Brian down. What the hell happened when I was gone?

"Just let me go in and talk to her," Brian said.

"He no! You're not going anywhere near Faye anymore. You guys broke up. Now stay out of her life," Hanna was trying not to yell, but she I've never seen her more angry.

May spoke out after a minute of silence. "I think you should leave, Brian."

"Why? I'm her boyfriend."

"Not anymore, you aren't," Hanna interrupted. Wait, they broke up? When did this happen? Faye never told me anything about it. She tells me everything. "It's your fault she's in the hospital right now. You're one crappy boyfriend." So it's his fault. I'm gonna beat the shit out of him.

I walked towards Brian with my fist clenched, ready to knock him out. I suddenly remembered that we were in a hospital right now, so it probably wouldn't be a good idea to cause a scene here. I calmed myself down and took a deep breath before joining the group. Chris put his hand on Brian's shoulder and said, "Your dad's here. I called him to come pick you up. No way are you driving home the way you are now."

"But I need to see Faye," Brian protested.

"She doesn't want to see you," Hanna said.

"I think you should just leave, man. Go home and get some sleep. You can see her tomorrow," Jack suggested. Brian let out a long sigh and walked away.

I walked down the hall and looked for Faye's room. I was dying to see if she was alright. I opened the door and walked in. Faye was laying across the room in a hospital bed with a needle to her wrist. I started walking faster when I saw her leg in a cast and bruises all over her arms. She opened up her eyes and said, "Andy!"

I ran to her side and gave her the biggest hug I've ever giving anyone. "Faye, you're alright! I was worked sick!" I was so glad that she was okay. I hugged her tighter and she winced. "Sorry!" I said, letting her go. I held her hand. "Are you alright? What happened?"

Her hazel eyes met mine when she said, "Andy, calm down. I'm alright. See?" She smiled. "Brian and I got into a fight and we ended up breaking up. He asked me to stop hanging out with you and there's no way I could stop doing that… You're my best friend! He told me he didn't trust me so I told him that we were done. He got mad and started driving really fast. The light turned red but he sped up instead of stopping. Then a truck was turning left and hit us. Or actually, we hit him, I guess. We were lucky the truck was hardly moving that fast, or things could have been worse." She started tearing up and wrapped her arms around my shoulders. "I'm so glad you're here, Andy! I don't know what I would've done if I woke up and you weren't here!"

I hugged her back. "I'll always be here for you, Faye. Don't you ever forget that."

She looked at me and said, "That's right. Because we're inseparable." We both smiled and hugged again.
