Moonlight masks, and secrets darker than ebony.

Moonlight revels and secrets deeper than stone.

Moonlight masks, and secrets darker than ebony.

Moonlight revels and secrets deeper than stone.

There's a place I know on th eastern coast, where the people gather after mignight.

And the hidden madness shows so clearly in the moonlight.

The dancing figures swirling round a circle of fire.

The chanting voices bring the flames ever higher.

The glimpses of not-quite hidden wings, and not-so-human faces,

The discolored skin and limbs twisted in too many places.

And the pitch black eyes reflect the light only to well.

And inside their blackened hearts there lies a ring of hell.

Yes I know a place where the fae gather after midnight,

And they dance and chant and burn and revel in the moonlight.

The madness reflected in their eyes soothes my aching soul.

And the hand that is offered invites me to be bold.

When the dawn shall break I shall be as one of the fae

And the everlasting night shall be my hope for this new day.

Moonlight masks, and secrets darker than ebony.

Moonlight revels and secrets deeper than stone.

Moonlight masks, and secrets darker than ebony.

Moonlight revels and secrets deeper than stone.
