A Hope For The Stars (Oct 1)

The sky darkens
and the clouds disappear
as the stars and the moon
suddenly start to appear.

They once told me
that if you were to find
the first star of the night
you could make a wish
it'll be fulfilled by tomorrow morning.

What a childish play
like some kind of prayer
an empty hope
because you're too pathetic
to get it done.

Snatch it with your own hands
don't make it a burden for our stars
as they only have the job to shine.
It's up to us to decide what we do our nights
and not to them, or "God", or the Sun.

Wow, a nice poem to start the month. WELCOME FELLAS.
