Faye

Andy is the best friend anyone could ever ask for. Whenever I feel like crying, he's always there to lend me his shoulder. He held me in his strong arms while I cried the night of the car accident. Honestly, I wasn't too upset that Brian and I broke up. I was only disappointed that he didn't have trust in me the entire three months that we dated. I trusted him with all of my heart and he tells me that he doesn't trust me. What made it worse was that he blamed it on Andy. Andy is my best friend. How can I stop seeing him? When we were younger, we promised to always be together. Forever and always.

I was discharged from the hospital a day after the car accident. My parents were both at work, so Andy drove me home. When we got home, he opened the door for me and helped me in my house. I was still trying to get used to using the crutches Doctor Jamie gave me. When we got to the stairs, I looked up and sighed. Andy laughed and picked me up as if I weighed nothing. "Woah! When did you get so strong?" I said.

"I'll take that as a compliment." He laughed.

I laughed and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Of course it was!" He carried me in his strong arms up the stairs and placed me on my bed.

"How are you feeling?" he asked.

"I'm fine." I smiled. "Thanks, Andy. It must suck taking care of me like this, huh?"

"Not at all." He sat down next to me on my bed. "I'm more than happy to help. You would do the same for me anyways."

"Yeah, but I think carrying you up the stairs princess-style might be pretty hard for me to do.."

He laughed. "And I thought we were friends!" We sat there laughing and talking for about an hour.

"So," he said. "Want me to have a talk with Brian? And by 'talk' I mean punch his pretty little face."

"Nah, it's alright. You know, I'm gonna be completely honest. I'm kind of glad we're over. I mean we dated for almost four months and he still didn't trust me," I said. "We were bound to break up anyways. I realized that I never really loved him."

"Really? When did you figure that out?"

"Just before the Woodridge game," I lied. I hated lying to him, but I couldn't tell him that it was when Brian pressured me into having sex with him. He would have murdered him. "He told me that he loved me at the party. It wasn't the first time, but he was expecting my answer and that's when I realized it. I mean I really liked him, but there wasn't any love." The last part was completely true.

"Well as long as your happy, Faye."

I smiled. "Of course! The Andy Parker is my best friend. I'm the happiest girl on the planet."
