Aaron's POV

I grabbed my backpack and made my way to my car. I still wasn't awake since it was 7 in the morning. It took me 15 minutes to get to school. Well, it would've took 10 but I kinda got lost. I know, I know, I go school every day, how can I get lost?

Okay, let's start from the beginning. My name is Aaron Larsen. I moved here just two weeks ago. And since I am terrible with directions, I still manage to get lost on my way to school.

I left my car in the first empty spot I could find in the parking lot. I had no intention of being late so I decided to hurry up.

I was standing in front of my locker when I saw Paul. He was the first friend I made when I came here. He came towards me, grinning.

"Guess what?"

"What?" I asked not interested.

"We are invited to a party!" I smiled at his expression.

"Well, how nice." Frankly, I am not a big fan of parties. Even though I am pretty popular, I am not a party animal. Besides I am new here, I don't know many people.

"Oh, hey man! What's up?" I heard Trent - a jock – call my name.

OK, I take it back. Maybe I do know some people.

"Hey Trent." I waved at his direction as he pass by. I like Trent- he is a good guy. He is a guy who girls adore.

So, I'm friends with popular people – big deal.

I used to be pretty popular in my old school. When we moved here I immediately hit it off with Paul. Honestly, I didn't try to make friends or be popular. I just acted friendly towards everyone. I still hadn't met half of the school, just some of the jocks, a lot of girls – which consisted of mostly cheerleaders – and the crowd I hung out with.

As we are walking to class, Paul kept rambling on about the party.

"Geez, stop it already. Why is this such a big deal anyway?" I really couldn't understand where this enthusiasm was coming from.

"You know there will be girls there, right?" I rolled my eyes as he jumped up and down enthusiastically.

Lillian's POV

"Lillian Ida Payne! Get down here right now!" Uh-oh,my full name in use, I guess I'm in trouble.

"I'm coming!" I ran downstairs as fast as I could and I tripped. Classic.

"Hey, Silly. Ready to go?" Well, I can always count on little old Faynie to catch me.

"Sure thing Faynie." I smirked as he scowled. I know how he hates it when I call him that. He glares at me. Oh well, he deserved it, he knows I hate the nickname 'silly'.

His real name is Liam Fayne Payne. Yeah, I know, it rhymes. That's why he hates his middle name. And that's why I love it. Seriously though, I think our parents were high when they named us. At least I am sure they were high when they named Liam. I mean Fayne Payne? What were they thinking?

Then again, they wanted us to have matching names. So both of our first names start with an L. And like that's not enough, Fayne and Ida both mean 'joy'. If you couldn't tell by know, let me clear things up. Our parents are pretty weird.

Dear Liam shook me vigorously and brought me out of my thoughts. " Come on, I don't wanna be late!"

Liam kept whining all the way to school. He parked the car in the farthest spot from the school. He knows I don't like it when people see us coming to school together.

Of course it's not a secret or anything, lots of people know we are related. Others just think that we are really good friends. We just don't go around announcing that we are brother and sister. I just don't want people to be friends with me because of Liam.

Yeah, he is one of the popular guys. I snorted to myself and parted my ways with Liam. I waved him goodbye and made my way to my locker.

Ugh, this is going to be a long day. My first class is art. I'm definitely not good at art. I appreciate a person who can draw but I certainly can't.

I took the only empty seat. As you can guess I was a little bit late so there was only one seat available. I smiled and seat next to a guy I've never seen before.

And I have to say that's a new thing. I pretty much know everyone here. Hey, I may not want to be associated with Liam but I am still popular. No enemies, a lot of friends. Even the cheerleaders love me and that's saying something.

I studied him a little bit. He had brown hair that approximately reached his ears and his blue eyes were just beautiful. He was sitting but I could still tell he was well-built.

I turned my head to the guy and reached out to shake his hands. He smiled as he took my hand.

"Hello, I don't think I've seen you before. I'm Lillian but everyone calls me Lily."

He nodded. "I'm new soo... I'm Aaron and everyone calls me Aaron." It was a lame joke but I laughed anyway. He seemed like a nice guy. " Well then Aaron, it's nice meet you."

"Likewise." I flashed him a genuine smile. We stopped talking when the teacher came in. She talked for a couple of minutes but I couldn't concentrate. God, art is so boring.

"So as I was saying before, you are going to do a group project. I want you to pair up now." Mrs D smiled as she passed some papers out. She seemed genuinely excited about this. What a weird woman.

I scanned the class to see if Liam was here. And he was. He smirked at my direction. I don't understand how he does that. We came to school at the same time. How can he be here before me? I rolled my eyes when he met my gaze. He whispered though I bet everyone could hear him.

"Hey Silly,wanna be my partner?"

"No way, Jose." I whispered back. He pouted. He is my brother and all but there is no way I'm doing a project with him. He would make me do all the work.

Next to Liam, I saw Sarah, my best friend. She turned around and smiled brightly.

"Hey Lil, let's be partners." I nodded and sent her a smile. I turned to my right to see if Aaron had found himself a partner.

"Liam why don't you be partners with Aaron, he is new here." Liam looked happy enough so I thought it was a good idea. I waited for Aaron's reaction.

"Sure. I'm Aaron."

"Liam." They nodded and shook hands. I smiled brightly. I really think they will be good friends. Maybe art isn't so bad after all.

Aaron's POV

At class, I looked around to see if I knew anyone here. I saw some familiar faces but none of them were my friends. I sighed as I turned my gaze back to my sketch book.

I stopped drawing when a girl sat next to me. I looked up to see who it was.

Wow, she is hot... no, I mean she looks like a fine piece- I mean nice person. God, what is wrong with me? I don't usually act- or think- like a complete jerk.

She was gorgeous with her shoulder-length light brown hair and green eyes. She was slim though she had curves in the right places.

She smiled and leaned in to shake my hand.

"Hello, I don't think I've seen you before. I'm Lillian but everyone calls me Lily."

I nodded lamely. Talk, say something, dammit! I finally managed to talk.

"I'm new soo... I'm Aaron and everyone calls me Aaron." God, kill me now. Why did I say that? It wasn't even funny. She must think I am a total moron right now.

"Well then Aaron, it's nice meet you." Oh thank God, she didn't make a comment about the joke.

"Likewise." Finally, I'm normal again. She turned around when the teacher came in and we stopped talking. The teacher- I think her name starts with a D. - talked for a couple of minutes. I kept drawing meaningless shapes on my sketch book until her voice brought me out of my thoughts.

"So as I was saying before, you are going to do a group project. I want you to pair up now."

Oh great, just what I needed. I looked at Lillian who is currently speaking with a guy. A hot popular guy to be exact. I mean what was I expecting, she is a hot popular girl, of course she has a boyfriend.

I cringed inwardly when he called her 'Silly'. They have special nicknames for each other? Well that's cute, in a way... I decided to go back to my normal self. I don't even know her. Why the jealousy?

Lillian's POV

"Choose someone, any one, it can be a celebrity or a friend. Maybe a teacher." Mrs. D continued to explain the project.

"Oh oh, I know, we should draw Liam. Ooh, I found a better one. We should draw angry Liam. So we can do something to make him mad and then blame it on the project." Sarah smiled darkly and chuckled.

I couldn't help but smile at the idea.

"And, he is cute too!" Sarah exclaimed a little louder than she should. Mrs D. glared at her.

"Miss Davenport, please gossip when you're not in my class." Sarah frowned, bemused as everyone get back to their projects.

"I was actually saying something about the class this time."

I laughed and earned myself a glare from Mrs. D.

I turned around to see how Liam and Aaron were doing. I had changed seats with Liam so that we could work on our projects though I wasn't very happy about it. I liked Aaron. Not like-like of course...as a friend who is really really hot.

Aaron met my gaze and and his lips formed a shy smile. I didn't broke eye contact and kept looking at him. God, how can he make me all hot and bothered by just looking at me? I think I am blushing. This is so embarrassing. I wonder what he is thinking? Did I make him flustered like he made me?

My thoughts were interrupted by my dear brother Liam who called my name.

"Hey Ida, turn around and get back to your project."

Ida? He never calls me Ida. No wait, that's not what's important right now. He must've realized what was happening between me and Aaron. I mean it was kinda hard to miss.

I immediately turned red and got back to my project. Just before I turned around I saw Aaron give me a reassuring smile. I felt something weird in my stomach...like butterflies. And I liked it.

I decided to walk home since the weather was good. I took my time looking around, watching people pass by as I stood in the middle of the park. I put my bag down under a big oak tree and sat down.

I saw Aaron across the park, sitting all by himself. He had a sketch book in his hands and his eyes were on the sunset. He narrowed his eyes as he tried to draw something on his book. He looked cute. When he turned his head around he met my gaze. I quickly turned around so I couldn't see him.

I didn't want him to think I was stalking himor something.

I flinched when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Hey Lily. Do you mind if I sit with you?" I could see he was nervous. I smiled brightly.

"Sure. Here, you can sit here." I gestured to my left as he sat down next to me. I glanced at his sketch book.

"Wow, that's amazing!" I snatched the book out of his hands and studied the drawing closer. He had really captured the sunset perfectly. I turned the page to see if he had any other drawings.

Oh my God.

A girl with light brown hair with big green eyes. It..it looked just like me. Holy shit! That is me, that is me sitting in art class!

"Hey!" He took the sketch book back but he realized I had already seen the drawing. " You were not supposed to see that."

Is he blushing? Oh, he is.

His eyes were not lingering on the cover of his sketch book. That is soo cute!

"You really think so? You don't think it's stalker-ish?" He had a faint smile on his face.

"Wha-" Oops, did I say he was cute out loud? "Umm, yea. I don't think it is stalker-ish." I chuckled and slightly bumped my shoulder to his.

I felt a jolt of electricity go through my body when our skins touched. But I didn't pull away. And neither did he.

We just stayed there silent, watching the sunset until we had to go home. At some point my hand was in his and his thumb drew circles on my hand.

I have to admit, it felt good.

Liam's POV

"Hey, Liam!" I heard someone call my name as I was walking towards my locker. "When do you think we can meet up for the project?"

"Oh, hey Aaron." I thought a little bit to answer his question. I would invite him over but then Lilly would be at home. We wouldn't get anything done because they would be busy making out. I cringed inwardly. It's quite disturbing thinking things like that. She is my sister after all. I could sense the sexual feelings floating around back at class yesterday. I do NOT want to live that again.

So, the thing is I couldn't invite him over.. unless...I invited him over when Lilly was at Sarah's place. Yeah, that could work.

"Why don't you come over today? But we have time until 9 pm. Uh... we have guests coming." We have guests coming? What kind of lame excuse was that? Well, I couldn't just say 'hey, my sister is coming home but you can't see her because I don't want you fooling around.', could I?

"Um, okay. I am sure we will be finished by then." I could tell he didn't buy my excuse but he didn't press the issue.

I was literally saved by the bell. Around us there were students rushing and trying not to be late.

"Come on, let's go." I said grinning " I don't want to be late."

"God, we've been working for hours, enough already." Aaron lay down on the floor and closed his eyes.

We had come to my house after school and we had been working for almost 4 hours. Okay, maybe 2 hours. We may have spent the other 2 hours playing X box. Whatever.

"I agree." He said not bothering to look up. I grinned and tossed a chocolate bar at him.

"We worked hard." I added eating the chocolate.

He chuckled and opened the chocolate bar's wrapper.

"I agree." He repeated himself.

I was about to offer him another chocolate bar when I heard the front door open. Crap. Lily.

"Um, Aaron, I don't mean to sound rude or something but you have to go. But let's do this again sometimes." He glanced at his watch and nodded.

"It's already late, don't worry about it. See you at school." He stood up to leave but he stopped for a second. His eyes scanned the photo that was on my nightstand. A photo of Lily and me, my arms around her shoulders, we are both smiling. I could see jealousy in his eyes.

I cleared my throat and interrupted his thoughts purposely.

"I'll show you the way out."

Somehow, I managed to get him out without Lillian seeing him. Whew, man, it was close.

When I lay down on my bed I felt bad. Maybe I should have just told him Lil is my sister. Well, what is done is done. Or maybe it won't matter anyway.

Aaron's POV

I lay down on my bed and sighed. After I was kicked out of Liam's house I went straight to my home. I wasn't upset with Liam but frankly I couldn't understand what was going on. I am sure he had his reasons...well, maybe.

I decided to go to sleep but I was just too tired to change. I stripped down to my boxer briefs and let myself fall onto my bed.

I reached down, grabbed my pants to take my phone to set an alarm. I wouldn't be able to wake up without one. I checked both of my pockets before realizing where I left my phone.

At Liam's.

Oh, what a wonderful world.

I got up and got dressed. I could just drive there, take my phone and come back home. I got in my car and drove to Liam's house. I wouldn't interrupt anything he was doing with his guests. I knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer.

"Lillian?" Holy shit. Lily is the guest?

"Oh. Hey Aaron. What are you doing here...?" she glanced at her watch before continuing, "...at 11:30?" She looked pretty nervous.

"I-I forgot my p-phone here." I couldn't talk properly. Aside from the fact Lily was in Liam's house at midnight, she was half naked. Her light brown hair was dripping wet and she was wearing boxers - which I hoped weren't Liam's. She had a spaghetti strap tank top on her.

Oh God. She looked so...hot.

"Um, yeah, come in." She opened the door wide open. I went in and closed the door. She was standing too close. We were standing in the middle of the hallway and we were alone. I could feel her breath on my face, on my lips. Her nose touched mine and when her lips brushed mine I realized what we were about to do. I pulled away. Oh my God she was kissing me and I pulled away. And she was just in boxers. Boxers!

"Silly, have you seen my-what the fuck is going on ?"

"Liam,we-"

"I don't want to hear anything. Y-you..Aaron go home!" And with that he stormed out of the house.

"Oh my God! I can't believe this. I can't believe I almost kissed you. I'm glad Liam stopped us. I-I would hate myself forever if w-we..."

*Slap*

I can't believe she slapped me! "What the —"

"You know what? I can't believe this either. I can't believe you are such a jerk. And I can't believe I thought we- we had something.."

"We.. what? You have a boyfriend whom I assume you just slept with and you- you are just so damn infuriating!"

"What the fuck are you talking about!"

"God! You... Liam and you.. and just- ugh forget it!" I stopped when I saw her expression. "Please don't deny it, you are insulting both of us." I turned around and opened the door. I stepped outside when she called my name. I hesitated at first but turned around anyway.

"He is my brother, you moron!"

* Slap*

Great, she slapped me again... and then shut the door to my face.

I sat down to my usual table with Paul at lunch. It had been a week since the incident. I had been trying to talk to her for a week but she is avoiding me...obviously.

She was sitting in the other end of the cafeteria with Sarah. She didn't even look at me. It was not surprising since she was avoiding me. Well, she had every right to avoid me. I would avoid me too if I were in her shoes.

I am such a moron. Maybe I should have sent her a letter saying that I am a moron. I doubt that would help though. She must have hated me .

I almost kissed her but...I didn't kiss her. Then I accused her of having sex with her brother. And that's a disturbing thought.

Why did I push her away? Because I thought she had a boyfriend. I didn't kiss her back. But I wanted to.. soo bad.

I kept glancing at her direction every 10 seconds. God, I am way out of control. I think I'm becoming obsessed.

You would think not seeing her for a week would help – it didn't. It drove me crazy. I saw her in my dreams- cough – which I don't want to tell the plot of. Not suitable for children.

Someone interrupted my thoughts. I glared at Paul who was laughing like mad. I scowled as he tried to stop but failed miserably. He tried to talk but that caused him to laugh even more.

"Dude - hah ah -, y-you are - hah - so w-whipped."

Oh great. I saw Paul's sister Marie coming towards me. She leaned in and whispered to my ear.

"Don't lose hope yet." She winked at me and I smiled brightly.

"Hey, what are you guys talking about?" asked Paul who finally stopped laughing, and now was trying to eat something that looked like a cookie.

"Oh nothing, I was just thanking hot stuff here for last night. And this morning." She winked at me suggestively.

Paul started choking on his cookie and glared at me. Marie looked at me grinning and I couldn't hold it in any longer. We kept laughing like crazy until Paul started flicking little paper balls at us.

"Not funny guys. Not funny even as a joke."

"Who said it was a joke?"

"Dude..." And here goes the laughter again. The bell rang and I thanked Marie silently. She really cheered me up. She nodded and pulled me into a hug. I just stood there, kinda shocked.

"Just to make her a little jealous." She smiled as she pulled away and walked towards her friends.

I glanced at Lilly who was now exiting the cafeteria furiously. Sarah was walking after her, trying to catch up. She turned around, gave me a disapproving look and shook her head.

Oops... Maybe I should give the letter idea a try.

Lillian's POV

I was sitting in the cafeteria with Sarah at lunch. It had been a week. I know I was being stubborn. I just... he pushed me away. I was furious- I mean, I slapped him!

I could hear him talking to that Marie girl. They were flirting. Huh, good for him, I didn't care.

Oh my God, my eyes were filling with tears. I- I was crying. I couldn't let him see me. I stormed out the cafeteria, Sarah following me.

I wanted to go home. I needed to go home.

Sarah gave me a ride. I didn't want Liam to see me in that condition. When I got out of her car, Sarah gave me hug. I smiled at her gratefully.

"Don't worry sweetie, everything will be okay." And with that she got in her car and drove away.

I let myself fall on my bed. I was about to fall asleep when my phone rang. I groaned as I tried to locate my phone, my eyes still closed.

"Hello?"

"Hey sweetie, I just wanted make sure you are ready?" Sarah chirped brightly at the other end of the line.

"Ready? Ready for wha- ooh!" Realization dawned on me when I remembered I promised Sarah to go to a party. " I'll be ready in 20 minutes."

"Good girl."

I had been there for 5 minutes and the music was already giving me a headache. I crinkled my nose when I saw the grinding bodies on the dance floor. When I saw some of my friends over at the beverage table, I immediately walked towards them.

"Hey Lil." Sarah greeted me as she gave me a beer. I took it and smiled.

We stood there a couple of minutes, chatting until I saw Liam sitting on a couch across the hall.

"Hey little sis'" Liam said to me as I fell down on the couch next to Liam.

"Hey Liam." I said slurring a bit.

"You should call me brother you know. I am older than you. By 14 months to be exact." I chuckled when he pouted mockingly. He smiled affectionately and threw his arm over my shoulder. He pulled me closer and kissed my hair. " I am sorry about you and Aaron. I overreacted."

I looked at his face, shocked. We hadn't talked about the incident after he stormed out of the house. We just did what we usually do, we ignored the situation.

"I am not stupid you know." He continued. " I know you have something going on. And I am sorry about my reaction. I just love you too much." He had a stupid smile on his face. I couldn't help but grin.

"Aww, is little Faynie overprotective of his sister?" I answered stupidly. He didn't laugh. Instead, his eyes studied the bottle in my hands.

"How many of those have you had?"

"Don't know, don't care." I got up and made my way to the dance floor. I ignored Liam's rejections and started dancing like crazy. Note to self. Don't drink again.

Liam, being the good brother he is, saved me from the hormonal teenagers on the dance floor and dragged me towards the exit. He held my hand firmly and didn't let go. As I was passing through the hallway my eyes met a certain pair of blue eyes. I quickly looked away.

Stupid. Stupid stupid stupid heart. Stop pounding like crazy when you see him. Ugh, I hate the fact that I can't control my feelings. My feelings towards him.

Aaron's POV

I had forgotten about the party until Paul called me. He sounded so enthusiastic, I couldn't reject him. Even though all I could think about was Lily, I thought going out and having some fun would be good for me.

Apparently I was wrong.

When I saw her walk through the door, I was stunned. She had a dark green dress that showed off her curves. It wasn't a night gown but it wasn't a casual dress either. She had let her hair down and she had a little make up on.

She looked amazing.

I wanted to go and kiss her senseless but I knew I couldn't have. I had tried talking to her multiple times. She was just so determined to avoid me, I thought she needed a little time.

I knew she was hurting as much as I was. At the party she drank and I could tell she was a little drunk.

When she started dancing with some random guys, grinding against them I felt a pain in my chest. I would have stopped her if Liam hadn't done anything. Fortunately, he grabbed her wrist and dragged her towards the exit. Her eyes met my gaze. I wanted to stay in that moment forever but she looked away. God, this sucks.

I think I have an idea. It won't be easy but I'll win her back.

Lillian's POV

When I got home I had immediately fallen asleep. I felt like shit when I woke up. I decided to take a shower and freshen up a little bit.

I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around me. I went inside my room and locked the door.

God, a shower was exactly what I needed. I turned around to take some clothes out of my closet.

"What the-"

He crashed his lips onto mine and I just stood there, shocked. He pulled away when he realized I wasn't responding.

And I slapped him. Again.

"Ow, what the hell?" He put his hand on his red cheek. What can I say, I am good at slapping people.

"You are an arrogant, egoistical, stupid jerk!"

"And you are only wearing a towel." I couldn't help it, I grinned.

"Idiot."

"Sexy."

"Stop looking at my towel."

"Then take the towel off."

"You wish. What are you doing here?"

"What is this, 20 questions? I am here to apologize – obviously. Why did you slap me ?"

"Which time?" I grinned. He rolled his eyes.

"The last one."

"I slapped you because you stopped kissing me." I can not believe I said that ! What happened to me?

His lips broke into a grin. "Then I better make up for it."

And he kissed me. He leaned down to meet my lips and this time I welcomed it. His hands tightened around my waist and I put my hands around his neck playing with his hair. His hands stroked my back. I let my eyes close. In that moment, I let everything to it's flow. I forgot everything except his tongue tracing my lower lip.

After hours - which felt like seconds – we pulled away. We were lying on my bed, our bodies entangled.

"Wait a minute. How did you get in here?" He smirked as he watched my puzzled face.

"I may have asked Sarah and Liam for help." He asked my brother for help? My overprotective brother? Now that's something to admire.

I tilted my head to reach his lips. He cupped my face and pulled me closer. I shivered when his lips left mine. However he didn't stop, he buried his face to my neck. I moaned when he kissed my collar bone. His hands were going down.

"Lillian Aida Payne! If you two are having sex right know, stop it immediately, I will not tolerate that!"

I walked to the door grinning and unlocked it. Liam came in scowling. He stopped in front of Aaron and gave him- oh my God, my brother gave my boyfriend a condom. That is sooo weird.

He left my room muttering something under his breath. I think he said something along the lines of 'dude, that's my sister, gross!'.

Aaron wiggled his eyebrows suggestively, waving the condom in his hand. I chuckled and rolled my eyes at him. He sighed and pouted mockingly.

"O-kay babe, we'll save it for later." He winked at me and I couldn't help but sit on his lap, straddling him.

"Babe, huh?" He grinned. "So, does this mean I can have a nickname for you ? Hunk, hot stuff, stud, sexy, handsome, prince, toyboy? Ooh I found it, what about tiger?" I giggled and leaned in to kiss him.

"I guess we can work with that. And I'll call you Ida then."

"Why? No one calls me that." I pulled away to see his expression.

"Exactly." He smiled genuinely. "And it means 'joy'. You are my joy. So can I call you Ida, girlfriend?"

"Sure thing, boyfriend. Oops sorry- I mean, sure thing tiger." We both smiled and leaned in for another kiss. His hand grabbed my ass.

And I slapped him. Again. But this time I just did it for him to make up for it. And he did.

Soo... this is the end! Thanks for reading.
