I open myself
like a scroll,
unroll my blank
sheets of paper before You –

for You

to write Your glorious Name
upon every inch of me.

I offer myself
like a mountainside,
bare my rock,
release the rubble –

for You

to pour Your waterfall of life
through this channel into the valleys.

I spread out myself
like a tablecloth,
straighten my white folds
over Your altar –

for You

to set down Bread and Wine
for Love's communion.
