The orderly threw Subject 702 into the dimly lit room known as The Chamber, slamming the door shut and bolting it closed.

Subject 702 pushed himself up off the cold floor and sat back on his legs as he glanced around the room, his advanced eyesight helping him see in the dim light.

The walls were padded and an old flat mattress took up the far left corner of the room, no windows so the only light source was from the dim light bulb hanging from the ceiling.

He heaved a sigh, his tail flicking back and forth in anger as he looked all around the room.

"What the hell am I supposed to do now?" He grumbled, rolling his eyes.

Standing up, he walked over to the wall beside the door glaring at it as he imagined the orderly he had stabbed.

"Son of a bitch!" He growled, punching the wall suddenly.

"If any of them hurt Subject 245 because of this… I'll… "

His breathing became labored as a low growl formed at the back of his throat.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Lillie yelled as she spotted the orderly walking back up the hallway.

He merely ignored her and moved to walk past her when she suddenly reached out and grabbed his arm.

"Let go of me, you little…"

Before he could finish Lillie had wrapped her hands around the man's neck, using every ounce of her strength to strangle him.

She watched as his face began to turn purple from lack of oxygen. Her eyes staring back into his.

"This is for Subject 702, you had no right to lock him up like some kind of… animal."

She ignored the fresh tears now streaming down her cheeks as she squeezed her hands tighter around the orderly's throat.

He began sputtering and coughing, fighting for air as she continued to choke him.

"I will find a way out of this God forsaken place, even if I have to kill every last orderly, doctor and nurse to do so!"

"Son of a bitch!" She yelped out in pain as she was suddenly struck with a syringe needle.

She looked behind her to see the nurse from before, holding the syringe she had just shoved into her arm. Her hands went limp, releasing the orderly's neck as she was consumed by darkness.

"Subject 245, wake up! Come on, please wake up…" Subject 702 spoke softly as he leaned over her.

He kneeled down beside her, placing his hands on her shoulders.

"Please…" He murmured softly, hot tears stinging his eyes as he looked down at her.

Lillie slowly opened her eyes shaking her head. "Man… that really hurt, damn nurse."

She looked up to see Subject 702 kneeling beside her with tears running down his face.

"You're okay!" She exclaimed suddenly throwing her arms around his neck, pulling him into a tight hug.

He smiled, fresh tears threatening to overflow as he wrapped his arms tightly around her waist.

"Are you okay?" He suddenly asked looking into her eyes.

"Yeah, a little fuzzy cause that damn nurse knocked me out with another one of her syringes but otherwise I'm grand." She answered looking back into his eyes.

"We will find a way out of this place, we will free all the others and we'll burn this place to the ground." Subject 702 said, grining slightly.

"That's great, except how do you plan all that if we're locked in this stupid room?" Lillie asked.

"They can't keep us in here forever, but… I do have a way we can kill the time." He replied, his tone slightly nervous now.

She looked up at him, her eyebrows raised in confusion.

"Oh come on, you can't possibly tell me you don't like me… not even a little."

"You're full of yourself, I mean I was worried about you but I don't feel for you in that way. I mean I hardly even know you."

"Then what better way to get to know me? Besides, we might not even make it out of here alive."

"Who says we won't make it out alive?" She replied, crossing her arms across her chest.

"Then at least humor me, please?"

She sat back on her heels and gave him a once over, sighing.

"Fine, but I want to be on top."

He gave her a victorious grin and chuckled.

"I think this will be a lot of fun." He grinned wider.
