Here's some traditionally arranged Haiku for you. I wrote these years ago, but if I recall correctly, I wanted to focus on the setting (time of day, season) for imagery.

Enjoy.

Haiku Poems

A crisp winter morning

A deer with her young in the snow

Protecting, watching, listening.

A breezy fall evening

A child at play in the leaves

Smiling, laughing, joyful.

A blooming spring morning

A flower opening to the sun

Alive, beautiful, peaceful.

A cool autumn night

An owl perched high above

Hooting the forest to sleep.

A warm summer morning

The birds sing their waking chorus

To rouse the sleepyheads.
