Chapter 3
I looked out and Alex pulled me back. It was a good thing too. There was a vampire sitting on the ledge. It turned toward us as soon as it sensed us coming toward it. I saw that it was a female vampire.
Her red eyes glowed with hunger. I drew back and just stared. Alex went white with fright. Suddenly it leaped off the window still. I watched amazed.
She ran as fast as the wind as she took off down the drive. Alex reached forward and closed the curtains. She gasped as she said 'This is so creepy.'
I asked her how long has this been going on. Alex says the noises have been on for about a week but this is the first time the vampire sat in front of the window.
I get worried and decide to tell Phil what happened. The sun began to rise as we watched out the window. 'Thank god it's sunny today!' Alex muttered. Then she told me to get out her room like usual.
I muttered under my breath about her not being normal. As I reached my room a sudden wave of dizziness came over me. I steadied myself and controlled my breathing.
I looked behind me and I could swear I could see a male figure. I blinked a couple of times and when I looked back nothing was there. After a while it seemed like I imagined the vampires.
Phil had calmed down and decided to let me stay but he warned me if I caused any more trouble I was gone. I still had no clue what I did wrong but I didn't want to get into trouble by asking him.
