Chapter 1

Willow looked out her window wishing the rain would stop. Ten minutes later the sky was grey but no rain some people would say it was continence but Willow knew better. Willow had a power over the weather. Her best friend El was a fairy. The two of them had lots in common. Willow headed outside to the square in town.

Willow saw El and ran over to her. Willow spoke first." I can't believe it worked' El asked if they were going to Barbs. Barbs was a place in town where you could get any flavour of ice cream. Willow nodded and they started to stroll along. On the way they pasted by a flock of bird men. Willow and El skipped to Barbs.

Willow went up to the counter and asked for a triple fudge and El ordered tree bark sundae. They sat at their usual spot and talked. 'I heard Richard was looking for you today' El said slyly. Willow blushed. Richard was a boy who had an affinity for fire and willow had a huge crush on him for ages.

'You know, I love what you did to your hair' Willow replied quickly changing the subject. El smiled. Suddenly Richard walked in. Willow gazed at him. 'You're drooling' El teased. Willow stopped looking at Richard and looked annoyed. 'Hey lighten up! We're here to have fun.' El replied. 'Yeah you're right.' Willow smiled. Suddenly Richard started to walk towards them.

Richard saw Willow and he grinned like mad. He went up to the counter and got a caramel sundae. He decided that he was going to tell willow that he liked her and he headed for her table. Suddenly Lisa walked over to him. He knew that Lisa liked him but he plainly didn't like her. 'Hey do you want to go to the cinema with me? 'Lisa asked.

He said he had other plans. Willow watched Lisa McCoy jealously talking to Richard. Then she was surprised because it looked like he refused to do what Lisa asked him and then sat down at her table. 'Well I better be going' El said picking up her jacket. She waved at Willow. Willow blushed when Richard sat beside her.

Richard grinned. 'Listen there's something I have to tell you.' Willow stared at him like an idiot. Richard continued. 'I like you a lot.' willow blushed then smiled and replied 'I like you too.' 'Do you want to catch a movie later?' Richard asked. Willow nodded unable to speak. At the cinema willow waited for Richard. At first she thought he wasn't going to show up. Then suddenly a limo shows up and Richard opens the door.

Willow gasps.

'Oh my god. I didn't know he was this rich!' Willow thought. Richard closes the door and walks up to willow. 'Hi' Willow blushes. 'Hey Willow' Richard coolly replies. Lisa McCoy watched this with shock. They strolled inside and picked a comedy film. Richard paid for the two of them while Willow turned a darker red. She glanced at the queue and was relived when she thought no one she knew was there.
