The black, the white, and the transparent
From beneath the green
were brick-red earth retrieved,
mounting hills beside a uniformed rectangle.
Slowly lowered into it,
an elaborately designed box,
in which an old carcass laid,
silent, and very much asleep.
Years of negligence brought forth regrets,
alongside the heaviness of the parade,
agony finally permeates the suited man.
And doh~ here doth she come!
Swish-swosh, the heavily embroidered ends in the wind,
weeping away her happy smiles that love should hold,
held by her beloved, in a muddied wedding dress.
Light beckoning it to step within,
A single tear of relief gives way as it fades,
Swallowed by the brightness unseen to human eyes.
